Would you have ever expected to see a hut for Yoda from them?

That's 16"x19"x19".
*sighs* After I wrote that, I knew some smartass was going to bring up Yoda's hut. *glares @ devil* OK, sure, but is it selling? The same one's been sitting at my LCS for a year. BBTS has discounted all of their environments, even the Dewback, which of all of them I'd have expected to sell the most briskly.

The more I've thought about the meditation pod, the less likely I'd be to buy it. At least with Yoda's hut there's a lot to fiddle with to change up the display (add Luke or don't, have Yoda here or there, all the accessories). With the meditation chamber, you can have Vader facing forward or back, with or without his helmet. *shrugs* Honestly, it would be a pretty boring display. I can't see myself displaying Vader sitting passively as opposed to dueling Luke or doing something else.

Finally, I'd bet that easily half of the people that say they want a chamber would balk at the price (I would guess it would be the most expensive yet) and ditch the idea if one were ever made. Look at the thread on the Cantina band nook. It's really about a perfect representation of the cantina for the modest price and that thread was nothing but hate for 3 or 4 pages. I remember looking it up expecting there to be some interest in it since our environment choices are pretty limited, but nope. So yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath for a full scale meditation chamber.

Exclusive just went for $250.00 at RS and a regular went for $150.00. Once the new Vader's out, though, I'd guess the exclusive will drop pretty precipitously.

True. I can see the appeal for a collector's collector, I guess, that wants to have the first Sideshow rendition of Vader, regardless of inaccuracies or that has a particular affinity for the ANH version (though I think sooner or later HT will re-do it). I'm just thinking a lot of others will have a tough time paying HT prices for the ANH version once there is a presumably more accurate and detailed ESB/ROTJ Vader for the same price or less.

I do know if the price does drop on the ANH vaders back to or dare I say below retail. I would jump at grabbing another one because for all the problems with the figure still one of my favorites that sideshow has released.

I had to sell my ANH Vader because of unemployment so I am really looking forward to this one. And while it may drop the current price of the ANH one a little I don't think the release of this one will affect it too much.

This kid just had open. Heart surgery the other day they said on the news.
