You're right and I explained this. Anywho, I'm done.

Wow... the trolls are out in full force today. Think I'll quit while I'm ahead.

And you, Troll boy.

The guy claims to be an expert in pretty much anything that anyone brings up, then if you disagree he yells troll and acts like hes leaving the conversation, but lack of any real life means he will come back to the post if anyone posts after him. WINNER! :rotfl

I hate seeing the thread for what will be one of the best Sideshow Star Wars figures of all time come to this. I think it would probably be better if no one sasses at Alex anymore and that Alex stops responding to those posts. It's like we're in a constant loop. Alex, if you're interested in discussing this awesome Vader figure, please feel more than welcome to join us, but I think the back and forth and troll talk has gone on long enough.

Yikes! Way to win friends and influence people...

Kinda like Vader - he was a real "people person", too! Which brings us back to the topic of the thread. Any thoughts on what this bad boy might retail for? Part of me would love to get two, one for an Empire diorama, one for Jedi, but the $$$cost$$$ will likely rule that out.

I've also been thinking about the meditation chamber - would look cool, but they would have to cheat the dimensions to make it manageable, it would be expensive, and my space for such dioramas is finite. It would be a "pass" for me. I'm leaning the same way on an Executor bridge diorama for Vader and the bounty hunters, unless they have something incredibly clever in mind. I think the best environment for an Empire Vader would be a partial Carbonite chamber, the most visually arresting of the three (plus a great opportunity for the iconic duel between HT Luke and SSC Vader!) For Jedi Vader, the best display option would be a window to go with Emp's throne...would love to have SSC Vader and possible future HT Jedi Luke crossing sabers in front of the Emperor!!!

I don't like to speculate, but if I had to guess, I'd say somewhere between $175 and $200.

Sounds about right but that all comes down to a pretty standard load out if there is a whole lot to this figure, even more than they have shown the sky is the limit cause really this is a sellers market and they wont lose out on any vader.

The lightsaber is painted so that means it is one of the first things completed. If it was gonna come with two sabers, they would have show two sabers.

Basically all signs point to a ROTJ Vader.

Then again, maybe SS was hoping no one will noticed that the sabers from ROTJ and ESB are different.

It was said that majority of SW fans recognizes a character saber by their colour mainly and not so much on the hilt.

TECHNICALLY, that's not 100% accurate.
Vader used an MPP-based saber in all three films for the hero prop.
The Graflex version that you're referring to was mostly for stunts.

Personally, I'm hoping that the graflex-saber there will be the exclusive.

Based on the shots we've seen, it's both.
They've shown both helmet styles.

I have to agree the thought that ROTJ Vader is all we are getting is incorrect I have seen both ESB and ROTJ Vader parts and pieces teased and shown. So if my hopes are real enough a ESB/ROTJ Vader could be peaking the horizon soon which would be super cool instead of 2 figures we get 1 that can be both which is better then 2 reveals in my book.

Based on the shots I have seen, I am certain we are getting a Darth Vader helmet, mask, hand and cape.
