Dome is slightly off but it's a nice improvement to the initial proto shown. Think they should have showed that video when the figure first went up for PO.
Hope this actually comes out in Jan. I believe the SSC rep at SSDC said that it was already finalized. The figure on display and in the video was put together from final production pieces.
Yes, I think Sideshow should've waited until the figure was further along before putting up the previews and PO. Looks so much better in the video than the pics on the pre-order page. Main thing is that they do seem to have corrected all the most glaring problems. I still want to wait for in-hand pics, just to be sure but it's looking good. Supposing I do order, also have to decide whether to go for the exclusive... not crazy about it but you never know, could look cool switching it up for display.
Been getting out the Star Wars lore. Sold all my Hasbro figures and my SSC Jabba online. Only thing left that's Star Wars related in my collection is the DX07 and even that's in its box due to limited display space.
It doesn't hurt to get the exclusive for the sake of having more display options. Too lazy to check but the exclusive is the same price as the regular edition isn't it? You can also sell the severe hand if you decide you don't really deem it necessary.
