I'm happy as it seems like all the better looking components they've shown over the long haul seem to be on the figure in the video. Really hoping this is the final figure (or damn close to it) so I don't open up a big box of disappointment in a few months

Bah that's pretty cool i just ordered a second Vader to customize cause i thought this one would be a let down but hes uber cool *sigh*

I can see he will need a new body rand cape right from he get go!

I've ordered from FP a few times and have had to cancel due to the dire shipping. They usually get items about 4-6 months after the item is released or sometimes not at all as was the case with my Tusken Raider.

I was afraid someone would say that. Their website is full of figures that are either sold out or waiting for stock (even though we all know they will never come back in stock).

Helmet looks the same as the old New Hope version. I thought they said they fixed it?

Like the helmet stand and the light boxes.

The crown looks shorter and has more flare imo. Not quite right but better.

Looks great, by the look of it the dome won't need swapping out if my memory is correct the prop helm was reduced in size for esb And rotj so the hasbro done is wrong anyway, in worse case I'll see if I can swap the ssc Anh dome which I now have as spare and modded

The video got me excited for this fellow again

the dome was not smaller for ESB and Jedi! The front of the dome strip was flattened off at the end, and in Jedi the divit from the point being removed was filled in and the dome sat higher on the face mask. All of the Vader helmets in ESB started out as ANH helmets and were altered, such as the lower chin vent being larger, That was done so the Bob Anderson who wore the stunt costume for the dueling scenes could see through the vent easier.
