Yeah, it poses quite well. The pants are tighter than earlier pics, so some finer detailed poses may be difficult, but I got the figure to kneel on the stand,so I'd say that is pretty cool.

It stands fine. It has two-part boots like TCW Anakin and Major Bludd, which looks great and increases posability. SSC designed the ankle articulation to include a philips head screw, so you can tighten them if you so desire. (a brilliant design element).

Dome looks accurate to ROTJ. That said, you have to know that the ROTJ dome isn't as 'big' as the ANH Vader

I'm intrigued with your statement about the ROTJ dome not being as big as ANH. They came from the same molds so how is that possible? The only difference between ANH and ROTJ domes is the lack of "widows peak" at the front of the raised strip that runs over the center of the dome.

Get HT Bespin Luke instead. Much better figure and works with this Vader since it's ESB and ROTJ Vader.

Wow he looks amazing as does Malgus. I can't cancel Malgus I just can't. Both look too good. The boxes itself look awesome too.

Really liking that base but i'm curious how well SSC does with lighted bases. Will it look good?

I would answer that question with a resounding NO. Terrible head sculpt, sideshow body and arms unusually long, enough that you would believe that he grew up in the jungles of Indonesia and they just shaved him before putting him in the box.

I own it but I got it for cheap only for the clothes which I will use with a good body and whatever good Luke sculpt I can find. The idea always being that I get another Hot Toys package if I can find a cheap one.

Anyone knows if there is any other vader from ss or anyone else likely to be on the cards, different movie version may be? Even if its about 2 yrs down the line?...

I am not feeling it for this one yet and usually i am almost always sold on figures that i buy. No offenses to anyone, or to this figure, but the nrd is holding me back. If there is a chance of a newer one sometime in near future i would possibly want to spend this 250 on a different figure for now. Sucks... But only so many dollars.

Well ssc will nail the baggy suit then for the rots version

So basically it's a tad shorter than the EP4 fig, the dome is about the same, the suit isn't as baggy as proto pics, and it's on a bit better body. Am i missing anything?

Looks very good. I'm not going to sell my ANH version anytime soon since it's one of my favorite figures.

I'm also looking forward to Malgus as well. I hope they keep mixing some EU characters in there from time to time. I still want to see Revan made.
