Either way we'll be getting it in January hopefully. But for me I have the Hot Toys MOS Superman on order too so guessing he will be very early January and Vader mid or end of January. Just hoping really want to keep both orders.

Man, also sorry to hear that, guys. Hope things are not as bleak as they seem and that something works out. Definitely cancel those pre-orders if in doubt. Don't think these will be hard to find for a long while.

Really I can't wait for this. I for myself decided to just wait on the Man of Steel stuff and order Darth Malgus as I'm really wanting more Star Wars items anyways.

This figure is bomb. I can't wait to have it in-hand. The only serious gripe In have about this is the fact that the lightsaber doesn't ****ing light up. If they can include a light up lightsaber in a $170 Padawan Obi Wan 1/6th and not a Deluxe Edt $250 VADER figure then wtf is the world coming to?

I have nothing on my 1/6 list for 2014, and not 100% WOW'd with Darth Vader also. Have to admit $250 is not helping the case. Does this mean I have to see future images and clips to "convince me" to make the purchase?? Hmmmm....that just sounds wrong.

You might be right. I never intended to buy SS Boba Fett (online pictures did nothing for me). But once I saw it displayed at a collectable store I knew I had to make the purchase. Now I just need to visit that store when Vader is released!!

Much agreed. Of any of the electronics/lights that are included in figures, I generally turn them on once or twice, and then never again.

I am the same. Get rid of gimmicky lights and sound, and just concentrate on getting the detail of the figure right. If you want lights and sound, buy the £12.50 Hasbro Anakin to Darth Vader 12 inch figure.
