OK....here's about where I went to. Then I round off the edges so the dome would sit better.




I would recommend anyone doing it do a little at a time till they get the desired height.

Nope, I'm in the opposite camp. I always hated those ridiculous looking hedges on his face when I was kid.

Yes, it sure improves the look. I think the angle of the dome (when looking at the side view) is incorrect and that's what throws it off when you look at the "out of the box" pics. The dome should be tilting back more so it lowers the back edge of the dome down more. Adjusting the tilt and lowering it a bit should definitely improve the figure as King Darkness's pics prove. Good luck!

Wow, after observing kings pics...I am definitely gonna do that mod. It looks absolutely perfect.

I am convinced its not a neck height issue but a dome height issue.

Haha oh no there are WAY worse changes of course! That being one of them. What makes the Hayden change the worst... is it was clearly made from outtake footage... and I really liked Sebastian Shaw. Don't even get my started on the Blinking ewoks or changing Boba Fett's voice.

Hey King, when you finally do get a chance to take more pics, can you take a side view of Vaders helmet? Just want to see how it sits in relation to his shoulders. Looks like this cat's finally going to be buying a dremel! Wheeeewwww!
