They need to stop with that multicolor mask. Paint it black or gunmetal. It looked like crap on the ANH. Prop accuracy be damn.

No they don't. They should sculpt him properly. In the movie there are shots where you clearly see his mask is multi-toned. Even if in other shots he looks all black. Most of these pictures are overly lit anyway. Star Wars takes place in a dark universe. Don't display Vader with 15 lightbulbs around him.

The fact that this doesn't have light up chestbox is such a missed opportunity.

I asked about the pre-order for the new Vader figure on Sideshow's Twitter,asking if it would be around Spooktacular,and I got a "possibly" with a ;-)~
So we could see a pre-order in October!

I don't expect HT to make Hobbit figures.

Yeah, personally, I don't see HT doing much with The Hobbit. It's just the only blockbuster movie I could see on the horizon. And I wanted to shake my fist at Tolkien for lame comedic effect.

I was just on Twitter again and Sideshow told me the pre-order won't be before October for sure,so it's got to be in time for Spooktacular.

hi guys just got into 1 6 lines. need help in decidin between darth sideshow and medi ver2.o whats the diffrent in term of quality and likeness?
i have seller who goin to sell darth sideshow for 310 usd, while ver2 is 288 from ebay. i know the sideahow when released first time was like 100 usd rite?
please help me guys thanks.

It's a different look. SS is from ANH, while the medicom 2.0 is from ROTJ

Medicom will come with an open reveal mask of anakin, the SS one do not have that feature.

Regarding the height, SS is too tall, while medicom one is too short. Eac have their pros and cons. But having owned the SS ver, I personally would go for the new medicom one.

While the SS is not the 'perfect' vader in 1/6 scale, i'd take that anytime compared to the medicom. Check the post count over at the medi thread, try for searching for reviews as well. You'll see.

yeah i have search for both review especially ss. he got good review as well as medi.

maybe i just get the medi it's new and the price near the same.
