The dome is acceptable to me too. But I do realize that it is not as accurate as it could be. The reveal helmet on its own wouldn't be enough to have me pick this figure up when I'm perfectly happy with the ANH version. I can understand people giving this some stick purely on the basis that this is SSC's second go at this.

the helmet is crap... why does that have to equate to "doom and gloom"? Vader fans simply want a decent representation of the character... SST didn't hit it the first time and now it appears they may have a "strike 2" on their hands. where else but if not on this forum should this be discussed?

Not impressed with the sculpt detail in the bow in particular. It's rubbish. Not to mention the bridge is oversized and the neck barely tapers at all. Simply unacceptable. This Barbie version is far closer to what I'd expect in a 1/6 scale violin:

Vader's helmet is a work of art... it is a masterful piece of pop culture... why are some so offended that others would like to see it represented as the original artist intended?

If you're referring to the Tamashii Nations C3PO/R2D2, it actually is pretty bad. C3PO needs to have a mirror-like finish and R2D2's dome should not be finished in chrome.

Yes I am taking about those. As a collectors I understand. But also as someone who has seen hero props. In some cases these are better. Don't go by what you see on the screen. No I haven't seen the heroes of these. ST/chewy yes.
