Reinhardt sent me the parts for his Ultimate Freddy custom along with a great hat. I'm guessing it's made of thin plastic and coated with a kind of black felt. Once the brim is trimmed and the color changed, I think it will be th eperfect hat.

Thanks, man. I found a pic of the prop sweater so I made mine as realistic as I could using the pic of the prop. I need to post a pic of the bottom of my sweater to show how ragged it is.

Commence craziness!!!

Reinhardt found this hat and sent it with his Freddy parts for me to customize. It actually has flocking on it which makes it look and feel like 1/6 felt.

It started black, but a little light layering with the airbrush, some strategic scraping with a sharp tool to give the illusion of little cuts in the material, and tada!

BTW, Reinhardt, I bought another hat just like this for my Freddy. I'll have it by the time I'm done with yours.

Another great thing about the hat is that it has the flocking inside too, and that means it is completely safe to sit on the painted head without worrying that the two surfaces will stick to each other or that the hat will rub paint off the head.

Truly excellent find there, Reinhardt. Couldn't have finished it without you. Now I just need to light up that damn furnace.
