Damn, I was hoping to use my points on this. The price is too high for me without using the points to knock a couple of hundred off the price so I won't be going on the wait list and it looks like I'm going to miss out on this. I want it but that price just doesn't work for me. Hopefully SideShow does more Godzilla in the near future.

The quality of Godzilla's screen time in the movie is amazing though, more so than other movies in the franchise where he's had more screen time.

Yup, Gareth Edwards did an incredible job. Every shot is amazing and unique in its perspective. Very happy that he's returning for the sequel.

Yeah it's already been announced. Set for 2018 release after Gareth Edwards finishes up the Star Wars movie he's directing to be released in December 2016.

Legendary has committed to 2 sequels, I think Gareth's only signed for sure to the 2nd, but the studio has 2 planned and Mothra, Ghidorah and Rodan will all appear at some point over the course of the two, no confirmation which and when.

First one comes out 2018.

I don't get how, instead of letting people make monthly payments on an $800 product, they put it on WL, and force you to make one $800 payment. Most people can't do that. If anything that is probably a disincentive for people looking to buy it. IMO, you will usually sell more of a product if you give people an extended time to pay it off.
