Time for everyone to take chill.

If you can't follow the new CoC then perhaps a two week vacation is in order.

Thread temporarily closed.

Edit:

I should not have to ask adults to be civil but apparently that's not the case. Follow the new CoC Darklord Dave has set into place or you will be held accountable.

If you have a problem with the CoC then take it up with Dave, not here.

I have no problem handing out infractions or even banning Freaks for a couple of weeks.

Thread reopened.

Why must the thread be closed? As I mentioned in the Luke thread, it punishes everyone for the deeds of a small few who have chosen to break the rules. Why not just hand out warnings or infractions to those offenders and keep the thread open?

This figure has only just been released - there are quite a few people coming in with the "just got this in-hand!" or the "did anyone else have this issue?" pics and/or posts and closing the thread shuts down those conversations at the very moment they should be taking place.

Can we settle the debate about Han's Bespin jacket too? Blue or Black? Cuz it's BLUE, Corellian Blue. Like the Hoth coat. Why the hell would he wear BROWN?!?!? Solo is consistent with his attire to arbitrarily break his fashion code.

Han's Bespin coat was gray. You can read about it in the new SW Original Trilogy Costumes book by Brandon Alinger. There is also a pretty good pic of the actual screen used jacket here:

Has anyone tried to remove the head from the hatted Hoth Han?

Haha I don't see the point in arguing over the color of the coat. Even if people get definitive evidence and screenshot after screenshot proving that its brown, there's still people that say its blue. It may look blue in certain shots because of lighting and other factors but its still a brown coat.

Agreed! I got the brown coat and if you wanted see it blue.. Here are some filtered eyeglasses you can use!

Kind of related to the topic of color…...Did you guys know that George Reeves Superman suit was gray and brown so that it looked like the correct shades in Black and White.

Well I know I'm really late to the party (like always), but I received my Han today and I have to say I'm really impressed. In hand it looks and feels much more detailed and high-end than it might have looked in early review pics, and he thankfully more than holds his own on the shelf alongside my HT figures.

Yeah he does still have a bit of a staring problem, but from a normal viewing distance (and not blown up huge on a monitor) it doesn't really stand out much at all. And the fur also looks OK in hand... although I'd still like to replace it with something that looks more like the preview pics at some point. And I also desperately need to get some better fabric for the scarf around the neck (preferably something that doesn't look and feel like construction paper!)

He's definitely looking a bit short next to my Bespin Han though (who stands exactly at 12"). Not sure what body I ended up with, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's probably one of the short ones! :D

Actually it's hard to say what I love more, Hoth Han or my new Bespin Han...

Looks good, but i still think that german officers boots look to bulky at the tip and all wrong.

Yes, i know the origin of the boots. But they still look off. It is something with the shape.
