Thanks. The body is just one of those generic narrow shoulder ones. The boots are the DID ones we were just talking about, the holster is an extra Hoth holster that I bought, and I made a new wider regular belt for him as well. The only thing that is actually from the old Bespin figure are the pants (and those I would really love to dye darker, if possible).

Perfect, thanks for the tips! The Hoth gun belt looks so much better than the original Bespin one. I'll probably do something similar and then mix it up with some loose HT smuggler Han parts when he's released (body, hands, gun belt and boots)

Well I was able to make a few small modifications to my Han. I lifted him up to the correct height (just a simple matter of putting some spacers at the bottom of the boots), weathered the belt a little and tightened the leg strap (and added an extra snap for a bit of extra detail). I also wet the coat to try to press down on the shoulders so they would not be so puffy, but in the end I'm not sure if that was all that successful.

I also tried to get a nicer material for the scarf and duplicate the way it was wrapped around him, but unfortunately the thicker material makes the whole thing look a bit too thick around the neck, so I might have to try something else.

Picked up the brown coat!!! :yess: and some extra Hoth Luke stuff to complete the post Wampa attack Luke. Also got the blue edition Hoth Han delivered today. Haven't been this excited to received some figures in awhile. This figure is awesome. Much better in "person".

Did you see how much some of the Luke items went for? I'm possibly in the market for the belt, shirt, and vest.
Edit: Forgot I would need the gauntlets too.

i think this looks really good DJ. What did you use for snow? Ankle spacers? Love the belt weathering too. Scarf doesn't look outta scale to my eye, but I can see if it's not on the mark yet for you. Bravo.

Too late again. Any idea if TA will do a third run for those loose parts?

i think they are on their third or fourth Luke now, and many good items are left for both. Maybe things are cooling down. A few weeks ago I was really razzed about getting one, but now I'm like, how many times will I really redress this thing. Not many. I'm good to get it, but good if I don't. Blue rules.

I could live without Brown too but i'd really like to put that spare unhated HS to good use on a Echo hangar Han. planning a retooled Bespin Han too.

here's a breakdown:

Star Wars: Luke Skywalker Hoth - Belt w/ Blaster, Holster & Pouches
$24.99 USD
Star Wars: Luke Skywalker Hoth - Boots w/ Peg Joints
$19.99 USD
Star Wars: Luke Skywalker Hoth - Bracers
$7.99 USD
Star Wars: Luke Skywalker Hoth - Jacket
$14.99 USD
Star Wars: Luke Skywalker Hoth - Pants
$9.99 USD
Star Wars: Luke Skywalker Hoth - Vest
$14.99

Wasn't too bad.

I was going to make a Wampa Attack Luke also; I had all of the above listed items in my cart. Including a body it totaled almost $133 bucks. It made more sense to buy a complete figure for a few dollars more and sell off extra parts. In the end I decided not to pull the trigger as I would rather use that money towards a totally new figure.

It's like winning the toy lottery when you go on TA and actually find what you're looking for; it's hard to turn it down.

Almost $100.:lol

For another $100 you can also have the stand plus Hoth pieces, three heads, two sabers, the body and more hands than you know what to do with.
