The only thing I don't like are the boots. This guy is going to be standing pretty straight up. If there ever is an at at cockpit, this will be great.

Mine , delivered today. One of my favorite troopers

The AT-AT Driver from Sideshow arrived, a very cool figure, though the body is worse than the TIE Pilot. I like the figure, the accurate gray color is very cool and the greeblies on the helmet and armor are an improvement over GG's bust and Marmit figure. Overall 8/10:

I just don't understand how this issue isn't corrected.....

Don't get me wrong, it is not as floppy as the SSC Sandies, which were crazy. But comparing it to the SSC TIE Pilot which has tight articulations just like any HT figure, this AT-AT Driver is floppier. The reason he got 8/10, plus the minor changes SSC did to the helmet accuracy. Still a pretty solid figure in my books.

Thanks, no worries. I understand; for this money, base bodies should be excellent and have tight joints

That said, went ahead and ordered this one - quantity alert hit on the EX and they have this available for a $25 off coupon, so free shipping basically

Got mine today and no issues with the base body. Its decent. That said, the overall quality of this one is pretty fantastic. Detailing in the helmet, color, and the gloves all look nice. The material for the jumpsuit feels pretty high quality and of course the EX Rifle is nice. Nicer than I expected for that weapon! Glad the tailoring of the suit allowed for the waist to not appear so tiny, as it did with the Tie Pilot. Given it's the same base body, the tie pilot's waist always bugged

Glad I got this one. Marmit version looks pretty pathetic now.....

The waist on the Tie Pilot is a bit of a non-issue. Pictures seem to exaggerate it, but even then if you're not happy it's really easy to fix. Flight suits should more form fitting than suits designed to withstand arctic conditions.
