I bought this with the code about an hour ago, merry christmas to me!

Strange thing is, I was choosing between this and the TIE Pilot and the shipping for that was $17.18 but, the shipping on the AT-AT Driver was $16.21. Why would the less expensive figure that comes with less and therefore weighs less be a little more expensive to ship than the more expensive figure with more weight to it?
Not complaining I just find it weird.

It seems GIFT4U16 works on multiple figures. Does anyone know all of the figures this code works on?

Yeah, I was wondering that too. Doesn't seem to be a list attached to it so I assume it only works on the "normal" gift code list.

I wish I could use it multiple times on multiple figs but no dice (just blew it on the Jawas.):lol

Hello guys my AT-AT driver arrived with some paint issues on the back of head and on his left eye. Anyone got the same problem? That's clearly some fingertips from the paint guy...[emoji20]

Anyone has a quick/easy solution at these?

Mine had something like this on the left eye I took a damp cotton bud to it and it came off

Well, I pulled the trigger on this guy w/ the GIFT4U16 code. It looks cool, some of the photos in this thread look promising, and I don't mind paying < $180. Time will tell.

So a lot of quality issues with this guy then??

I actually was really impressed with the paint apps and finish on this fig - incredibly sharp, even under magnification. It's a really superb looking figure, though a little inaccurate in places.

The body's hips were slightly floppy, but he's not really an extreme pose figure, and the rest (arms especially) was as good as a HT body and has decent weight to it.

The ssc code led me to this. It was close, aou ultron, aou vision, and darth maul were close but this price (170.00) was better for me. I know hot toys will make a better version down the road but my Marmit at at driver is pretty dated now and I only have 1. This was one of my favorite troopers from the old Kenner line.

Happy to get the $50 off of the at at driver. Had originally bought him with a $20 off and went ahead and cancelled it. Hard to pass it up. Only had one flex payment paid on original order.

Thought about getting this but after seeing the night and day differences of the stormies, snowtroops, and sandtroopers I'm holding off until hot toys does one. Hopefully a year or so we'll see HT do a biker, snow trooper commander, and the tie/at-at driver.

To be fair, the Sideshow Storm/Sandtrooper is old as hell now. I'm not sure how much HT could improve on this fig, aside from maybe tiny details.

I wouldn't call the HT vs SSC stormies night and day differences - the snowie is a major improvement though. Side by side, the HT and SSC stormie helmets are actually quite similar looking - both equally inaccurate (the reason so many are buying the custom 1/6 "stunt" helmet for use on their HT stormie.)

The HT stormie is definitely a superior figure, but the improvements HT made in the stormies were most in the bodies and maybe finish, not accuracy (though the SSC codpiece was pretty notoriously inaccurate.) I never had the SSC ones, but they look pretty similar to the Ht side-by-side.

In terms of Ht doing a ATAT driver, the main issue is that we are now approaching three years into the world where both SSC and HT do 1/6 Star Wars, we are still yet to see HT do a figure that SSC has done in the recent past (Vader is closest, but they did ANH and SSC had done ROTJ maybe a year earlier.) So that suggests there may be some kind of arrangement - meaning a HT ATAT driver might be several years away.

Which is a bummer, because I really disliked the SSC Biker - and resold it.

And HT has already announced a Snowtrooper Commander.
