^^^ If the edition size is such a huge deal to you... As soon as you get it dont open it and turn around and sell on ebay again... Someone out there will buy a EX for sure... Hottoys is going to rebatch the T-800 which I dont think is right.

The regular edition might not be blowing the roof in sales, so maybe they allocated 50 of those reg editions and ordered an extra set of 50 blades for the exclusive and be able to get those accounted for, sold and out the door. Then they can close both offerings and say they had a stellar of a success sellout on both editions and get their bonuses.

:exactly:
I completely agree that this is the most likely scenario.

Some people curse SS for what they did and some praise them for adding 50 more.
I agree that adding won't hurt the exclusivity of 100 but sure will diminish the exclusivity.

If SS's reason to add 50 more EX unit is to please fellow collectors who for whatever reason failed to get one then SS sure did right then if't for greed reason then I can understand those who hated SS.

Remember there's always balance in the world. Some are mad some are happy. :)

Peace

then they should put 200 at the beginning, and i am sure it will be sold out within one day !! change is not the way for such big company and many collectors !

Are they doing the T-800 endoskeleton again or Arnold? If they are doing the endo that is fd up since they sell for 500. I dont have one and dont care but while they are at it do Robocop again please .

Edit* Woooot, just got an email saying my wait list will be converted in a few days! Very excited!

I was able to get the EX of this item on preorder when it was first offered. When I heard the news that the edition #'s went up from 100 to 150 I was a little disappointed at the time, but I don't think it is going to effect the exclusive value of this amazing Maquette. I don't plan on selling mine or anytime in the near future when I get my hands on this item. This is the most exspensive piece I have purchased to date and I am not regretting it.

Oh hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!My waitlist converted...now i can just sit back and relax and wait for the release :yess:

What price would you say anyone would pay for the Exclusive version who did not get theirs from Sideshow? I'm just curious how much it really matters to only have 150 made when the regular is still available. I mean, how much of a difference will there really be? You can only pose him with one set of hands at a time anyway? Would anybody pay $400 or $500.00 more for an Exclusive Prime??

No one knows for sure.... you have to add the shipping you'll pay to get it to you and then the shipping to get it back out... $100 - $200 right there on top of the sale price. personally I don't see it going much above retail in the long run, I could be wrong though.

I'm just interested in seeing how this shows up in hand.... looks like one fragile piece..

I don't know about it but the number 150 should put much up pressure to the price once it's released. Let's see :)

When I saw him at SDCC he looked real tall and fragile. Also, its becoming increasingly difficult to buy them for profit with the size of boxes increasing and the price of shipping going up. My life size Vader Bust came in two extremely large boxes, looked like I bought a new stove, no way I could ever ship that. No that I want to but some collectibles are meant to be kept.

Yes with ES 100, No with ES 150.

The only difference is the swords so no i don't think it would make a big difference really,i waited for my waitlist to convert on the EX but if it hadn't and Sideshow's stock starting to get low on the Regular i would have jumped on the regular,i could easily live without the swords.
