Well this is the white line around the flames I suppose. Seems it is part of the colour scheme that shouldn't be missed/skipped. Also there are several spots making me not pleased. Hopefully SS revisits all these aspects if not too late. Can someone please forwards the pics to SS??

Looks better without that ugly white line.

With something as advanced as this Maquette the proportions will never be perfect,so that doesn't bother me at all.But yeah the pics you posted there shows how the flames should be.

Looking at how obvious the white is around the flames I am really surprised sideshow missed this.

This is bad form from SS especially after announcing the ES from the start. They should sweeten the deal by offering a light up feature to the exclusive version.

In general SS need to stick to an ES or not announce the ES at all.

So i guess the extra 50 is being offered to the waitlist costumers? If so i know im guaranteed to get one as i was a few seconds too late because of the damn slow site.

It is sad that when I jokingly said that Sideshow would pull a Darth Talon and increase the edtion size and they actually do go and increase it.
That is just ____ing LAME.
I mean it is good for 50 people who wanted one and missed out - congrats - but come on...increasing the edition size by 50% is just ____ing rude.
If I hadn't paid a deposit I'd seriously consider cancelling on principal.

I think they are allowing a grace period and refunding deposits for those interested, until next Friday. So you could still cancel if you wanted to.

From a collector standpoint I can understand that it's the principle of the thing. If the ES is announced as 100, then it should remain 100. But from a business standpoint, if Sideshow has the opportunity to make another $1,200 from 50 more collectors, they are going to do that. That's alot of dough to not capitalize on. I just hope for Sideshow's sake that the final production arrives without defects and that the majority of collectors keep their order and decide to not cancel come shipping time.

Damit SS....I knew they were going to do this. Why wouldnt they, it has nothing to do with allowing other collectors to get one. Its strictly a business decision to make some extra $$. So when they see people arent cancelling like they thought are they gonna raise the ES again to 250+ ?
What a sham....

Chris

Im sorry but this is just too funny,JUST because they increased the ES you would cancel yours?I want a HUGE prime like this in my collection,i couldn't care less about the ES,i collect because of personal interest, nothing else.

Even though you may not care about ES, the bottom line is that they instituted a deposit, therefore they shouldn't change anything about the specs, ES, etc., at this point. They should at least let anyone that felt slighted a refund on the deposit, since they changed the rules/arrangement.

I think they are until next Friday. At least that is what I think I read on Statueforum at the beggining of a very long thread about the edition size change.

$ideshow has ZERO credibility with me for doing this. This isn't about edition sizes or numbers it is about principal. I paid a deposit in good faith based on an agreement with SS that only 100 of these would be produced. There is an open edition size on the regular that still lets people get this piece.
Sideshow has gone and changed the deal and hasn't even bothered to email me beforehand. Offering a lousy refund on my deposit (which I'm not even officially made aware of yet) is just insulting. It is a big ____ YOU to the 100 people who had this ordered followed by a "hey if you don't like us doing you in the ass here is a refund".
Businesses are built on reputation and this sets a ____ty precedent for edition sizes in the future.
$ideshow needs to learn some ethics.
