Its got ok likeness, but I don't think its screaming Depp. With that being said I'll PO and see how it comes along. I'm hoping for the best because I was really looking forward to this one.

Doesn't look like Depp? Are we looking at the same statue?

Somethings throwing it off, but its real close to being a great sculpt. I hate when statues are looking to the left or right.
Maybe he looks to serious and not drunk enough. Have to see more pics.

I'm thinking for me it might be the skin tone in the face area. That could very well just be the photo or the lighting. All in all I still think it looks good

I think the seriousness on his face works for this piece.

His body posture, the way his head is sculpted and painted, and the hand playing with the coin really capture his scheming nature, with some basis in the scene where he steals the coin to become undead.

In the PF, his hand's playing with a coin, but his posture and portrait suggest there's someone near by he's talking to or watching and he's plotting out some plan.

I'd love for a hat and coat on him, and i think an alternate hatted head might be the Ex., but other than that, I think this should be a great portrayal of his character.

It looks like he's holding something in his other hand. You can see something behind his head.

Behind his head is his bandana flapping in the breeze I believe.

As for the rest of his pose, seems like this might be fairly true to the early sketches.

Huh....I don't really see Depp in the sculpt at least from that angle. I'm a bit disappointed but I'll keep watching.
