Wow just got email for a second arm replacement. As much as SSC failed in the QC dept, the customer service has come through for me.

I'm very pleased with the quality of sideshows customer service. This was the first time I had a problem with one of their statues and despite the time it took to get a replacement, I have nothing but praise with the way they handled the problem.

It's the Top Cow 1999 poster Holochrome edition. I believe only a 100 of them were made.

I tried taking a picture straight on but I was getting a terrible glare from the flash. But I managed to find a picture of someone else's that doesn't have any glare. Oh that's a 27" monitor right below my pic just to give you reference as to the size of the poster.

Mine only has two signatures, one from Turner and the other I can't remember what his name is. Also I know for sure you can get the regular version of this poster but tbh I really haven't seen one of these pop up ever. I just happened to be lucky when I stopped by my LCS he had this hanging on his wall. He literally just put it up earlier in the day so I ended up snatching it immediately.

Man I'm pretty ticked off with SS right now. After waiting more than five months for my replacement to arrive. It arrived with a hole in her suit. Couldn't whoever packed or inspected the body for cracks see the hole. FFS it's right on the left breast.
I bet there will be no more replacement bodies anymore. I'm getting pretty tired of this dodgey QC from sideshow. Very disappointed.

My replacement also had bad suit. I used the first suit & replace it with my replacement. Just carefully peel the top (glue) part & it will come off easily. I re-glued mine.

So I did it. I actually enjoyed doing this to other replaced parts in the past but this time it was tough. I just felt like I was destroying something that was pretty damn usable. I stripped off the cloth for fun...the body sculpt underneath was really nicely done...she woulda made a sexy nude statue. Here is the proof.

on a side note, i wrapped up the body in a towel and then took a hammer to it. when i was done, i noticed the process ripped a bunch of holes into the towel.

Whoa, glad to know she's fully sculpted underneath, wonder if anyone will make a fully sculpted custom. With a reworked face, that should be the ultimate Psylocke grail to me.

Really? I don't think we would have a cracking issue with the replacements everyone received.

Also what's wrong with the head? I don't care for the EX head so I just display the reg one which is my personal preference.

Somebody in the other forum found out that Psylocke was painted without primer. The replacement body looks good, but it doesn't guarantee the parts (Hands, heads, and base) won't crack in the future. It's better to return then to sit and worry for the next few months or years.

sorry for the double post but my replacement arrived a day earlier then expected which was nice
too bad my excitement didn't last long... literally nothing is good with the replacement! oh wait, now I'm lying, the sash and belt were okay...

I received my replacement and the material was damaged. Not sure if it's better to keep the statue with the crappy material or my original with only one tiny crack on her leg.
Either way sideshow need to get their **** sorted
