That is how I understand it. What is worse is if you order two items in an order with a gift card. The gift card negates it for the entire order not just the one item.

I guess that is my only gripe - I would think a gift card should be considered just like cash. Can gift cards be purchased on the site, or are they only given away?

If they are given away, then perhaps it should be that the value of the GC is not eligible for the points, but the balance we actually paid is.

Other than that, I am very happy to have this program in place .. now if they'd just give us some hint of a new Jason figure...

All of those should be showing up in your pending category (except for Sith Anakin, which both pre-ordered and shipped within the May-Sept bonus window, thus should be part of the 'available' balance - UNLESS you ordered by phone of course). If you have pre-ordered these items and they are not showing up in your pending, then that's a bug that will need to be worked out!

Yeah, right now the only thing I have showing up is Asajj, Plo Koon, and the Probe Droid Expansion. I ordered Boushh by phone but I ordered Maul online and Sith Ani online. But the thing is if you go to the product page it doesn't say there are any points availible for those items which may be why they aren't giving any points. But I'm sure things will be worked out. (you were dreading this day weren't you... )

That is my only gripe as well. I can accept that if you use a gift card on an item, I shouldn't get points, but I should get points if there are other items in the order, because usually the gift card is only going to apply to one item. For example, I decided to order the Shawshank art prints. I used a $100.00 gift card towards one of the art prints. Then I decided to order the second art print in the same order. Because of this I cost myself 650 points. If I had ordered them separately I would have paid a little more in shipping but gotten alot more points in return. I'm not really complaining just frustrated that by doing the logical thing(ordering multiple items in the same order instead of separately) I cost myself points. Granted the rewards program didn't exist then so I didn't know the rules prior and i'm lucky Sideshow is even giving rewards points so I really shouldn't complain, it's just frustrating.

I have those three plus Maul in mine. I don't think Sith Anakin would show up since it came out a while ago. It's also anything [ordered online] between May 06-Sept 06 and since then.

I'm a bit bummed that it is pre-ordered after May '06... but its a small matter, especially with all the crap I anticipate buying from Sideshow over the coming years!

And thanks Dusty for answering my dumb question... I'm sure it will be a long day :lol

Hm, very strange. Right now it says there's no points available for those purchases on their product pages since they are sold out and on Wait List status. After the holiday weekend we can troubleshoot this some more if you want to send me a PM to remind me :)

I still cant figure out how my available point add up but Im happy I have them. Would have been great to get points for Grievous but getting free shipping is just as good.

I just email sideshow about some of my pre order is not showing on the pending point, at least 10 pre order of them, that add up alot of point.

like two ghost riders is not on the pending point, how come.???? :monkey1 :monkey1

I have 2008 point and 2480 for pending as now.

My Vader was pre-ordered in April. Also, Boromir was the 30th of May and I didn't recieve any points.

Guys...please read the FAQ on the Sideshow account page. It will explain why a preorder before May 30th doesn't count as well as anything on the 30th. Count anything from 6/1/06.

Ok, I think I have figured out part of the problem people are seeing. As Dusty stated, Wait List items do not count and if the product page has the "Reservation" button, then no points show on that page. If the product is still available for purchase or is listed as "Sold Out", then the points show up. Now the question is, were the points applied to everyone's totals if the product is currently available for reservation?

Example: I ordered four of the Brotherhood of Arms Carded sets back in May when they came up for Second Chance. Three of them are now sold out again, but still taking reservations for the Wait List. These three show no points for purchase. The fourth set is still available for purchase and has the Red Star and available points showing.

I am still checking all my orders between May and Sept to see if I can match up to my "available" points and that may shed some light on whether the points have been applied or not. I'll report back once I'm finished...

I think you mean anything from 5/1/2006 onward.

Long time Sideshow Collectors will begin their Sideshow Rewards program with 'Bonus Point' rewards, which are points approximately equal to dollars spent on completed purchases made with us from May 1, 2006 through September 30, 2006.

I did read the FAQ. It says from May 1st to Sept. 30st, so Boromir should count (ordered on 5-30-06).

I think the program is very well done. I extend my thanks and appreication to SSC for all the thought and hard work.

I am very bummed out about one thing though. I ordered my Jabba Inclusive, the Jabba throne, the Jabba creature pack, Leia Boussh Exclusive and Bib Fortuna exclusives ALL at SDCC in person this year! I lost a mother pile of points on that! Doooooooooooooooh! And everything is now sold out so no cancelling and re-ordering for the points.
