The more I see the goggle head sculpt the more I'm starting not to like it, the forehead is way too big, probably gonna use the classic visor head for display, nice pics btw :)

I want to get the first release's shirt and portrait on this one and see how it looks.

I have found another thing about the figure that I find to be...distracting...and that is that the portraits looks too much like clay, to me. I can pretty easily get around that, though.

I was going to bash a Snake Eyes out of my favorite parts from the two...but I think this one takes it with pretty much everything.

I will have to look at the first release again to refresh my memory.

LOL...well! I just checked out Sideshow's gallery for the first release and the whole fiigure looks cheesy to me, now.:lol

Edit - And looking at my own shots of this release...it appears that I have some lint abatement to perform on his shirt.

No no no, its just the angle. Or no, I mean the lightening. Wait, I mean the strap is to low, or to high, or goggles are to high. No low. No high. No, its lens distortion. No....its, uh.

Just imagine where his eyeball in behind those goggles, then look where the top of his head is, its just goofy.

Firefly, Beachhead, ninjas and all the trooper heads had excellent proportaions, this one looks silly.

Anyway, I'll shut up now. I don't have it in hand, and won't have it in hand, and I sound like a broken record. I shouldn't comment I suppose. :dunno.....:)

I actually believe that there is some small argument to the camera angle point. I did a comparison and saw a difference. Not much, really. But some. I did post the better of the two pictures. The third shot down starts the shots I took from a lower angle.

Slightly higher angle..............................Slightly lower angle

Again...I realize that there is not MUCH difference and the portrait needs to look good from EVERY angle. But I don't find the proportions to be outside of possibility for a human head.

Great pics again DC.

This is the SE I want. I again have no issues with any aspect of the figure himself.

The commando custom King has would be a plus though.

And I'm less sold on Timber still.

so snakes DOES has a sweater underneath? If so,definitely displaying him that way to get the 82' look

Still waiting on somebody to get the goggle strap placed correctly. Everyones running it over his ears giving him that melonhead look. It needs to be much higher; just look at the angle of the strap connectors for a clue.

There is an indentation at the back of his helmet which holds the strap at a certain level. I didn't realize it had the indentation when I took my pics. Good looking out though.
