As far a clear winner between V1 and V2, I would say straight out of the box V2 is the winner. They both need work, but I think, from what I see, the V2 requires less work to be a solid figure.

Yeah, unfortunately that is a 3rd party sweater he has on, not the stock jacket or undershirt. From what I have seen, the undershirt is pretty thin and not like the one the first SSC Snake-Eyes came with.

I wanted this figure to look just like the 1/5th statue and Joebad's version comes pretty close - just need those black knee pads from the Cobra officer!!!

Somebody post pics of Snake-Eyes with some decent kneepads on!!!

Please keep reinforcing the V2 is better with these awesome pictures. I'm one of the folks that got on the boat late and am glad to hear the version I'll be getting is the better. It still bums me a little that he doesn't have his signature sword this go around but that can be picked up at a cost I suppose.

Yep, Davestro is correct, I have the ACI sweater on him. I actually did put my spare pair of knee pads on him right before I left for work but didn't get to take any pictures. Still deciding if I like it...I'll post a picture of it later tonight.

Damn, for those look good. I wonder when I get my copy of that, though the store I ordered it informed me about delays. So because of christmas and all, it may be January when I will finally get him.

After looking for a black combat sweater for over an hour on the web, I've decided that I am going to dye my extra Beach Head sweater black... any suggestion on how to do it without ruining it?

If you're gonna do any dying, I'd pick up a Navy one and dye that. You're less likely to notice the deeper blue not picking up the dye 100% than a lighter green. Plus the stitching, which won't take dye, won't be too visible.

I think they changed it from glossy to matted in the SW line too.

It's bit better than SSCs first since you don't need to replace the whole body and other odds and ends.
