Thanks for the pics so far fellas. Getting more excited about this figure. I'm always leery about checking boards when I know there is going to be pics up because I like finding the surprises but I don't think these have done anything but made me more excited to have the figure in hand. I'll be taking a few myself once I've got him in hand.

Still waiting on somebody to get the goggle strap placed correctly. Everyones running it over his ears giving him that melonhead look. It needs to be much higher; just look at the angle of the strap connectors for a clue.

Can you take of the goggles or visor off the head sculpts?

No...the strap on the goggles will move, but the goggles are afixed under the lenses.

And the visor is also permanently afixed.


Well...then again...they CAN be removed if a person has the determination...they are just not intended to be removed.

Thanks! And yes, I will be doing o shot of the 1st release Snake Eyes' shirt on this one...that will likely happen tomorrow. I just got back and that shirt is here in my hotel in my kitbash bin.

Couple more shots, this is how I'll be displaying him for awhile. Switched the v1 head back, I liked difference in looks between the two also switched the Timber head. Lastly moved up the strap to calm down Chainsaw, haha jk, but yeah you were right about the positioning!

Well I missed out on version one and I only want one or two Joe figures in my collection. So one is SE, not sure about number two. Any suggestions?

Straight out of the box v2 is far superior, after alot of work it just depends on which look you prefer.

After looking for a black combat sweater for over an hour on the web, I've decided that I am going to dye my extra Beach Head sweater black... any suggestion on how to do it without ruining it?

The patches might not take well to the dye, but you can paint those with black acrylic.

I would wait, as you can sell Beachheads sweater for much more than a generic black sweater.

Love the sweater, Joebad...I want to do the same when I get mine...if I can find one. The boots are cool as well. Try adding some kneepads, like off of the blue Cobra Officer. They would look awesome with the pants he has. Love the v1 over the visored one.

Sweet setup and shots! That's the same sweater he came with right? Looks good and not too bulky in this shot. That was my major concern (besides my goggle strap OCD).
