Pictures! There are about 50 more on my photobucket account, also willworkfortoys if you need some more photo mediocrity.

I understand the people wanting the boxes to all match but I think the flat finish looks so much more sleek than the glossy boxes and displays much better.

My findings:
Timeber is 'meh' as most have commented, heavy and hard to pose. He pretty much has one default pose where all the joints line up and thats about as good as he gets.
Accessories are all great and since I've only had Cobra's thus far a lot of them are new to me. My favorite is the messenger bag though. My first thought was, "Great, a murse" but it has three working zippers, clips, weave, and lots of miniature goodness that looks great at this scale.
I also tucked the sweater in as thats how the SE Timber sculpture was and it keeps the sweater from flowing out the bottom of the harness. My biggest complaint is that we need more left handed trigger hands. I like my figures with all guns blazing. All in all I think this figure is great and the 'newness' factor may wear off but he is up there with Firefly and the Vipers for me.

I absolutely agree and I will go so far as to say that all the awesomeness that this figure has easily overcomes the few drawbacks and vaults this figure into the top tier of Sideshow releases.

BlackOps are really pricey on weird stuff, esp anything "hot", but they're super reliable and fast shippers, and not bad if you can find a coupon code or just need some little bits.

I'ma wait for MD to break Snake down before considering grabbing any extra parts though.

MD and TA won't be breaking down the exclusive Timber though

Is it just me or is there a select group of people who seem to be over compensating with the Snake Eyes praise?

Good news and bad news. Good news is Fed Ex delivered a day earlier than expected (well, after getting delayed through the weekend). Bad news is Timber's right front fore-leg? part of leg was assembled backward :lol :slap

I swear I've been a magnet for QC issues lately. Sideshow's going to black list me at this rate :rotfl

Snakes turned out awesome though. The goggle head looks fine in person. Bunch of chicken littleling as usual there. I like it over the new visor head too. And I got to say I'm liking this version over the V1 as well.

This Timber is bigger than the wall version, but I have to give to the wall version for looking meaner. The closed mouth snarl looks scarier than the open mouthed one, which is MUCH better than the normal version, which looks like he's waiting for a Scooby Snack.

Those on the fence, get it. Sure Timber jacks the price up a bit and isn't all that great, but he isn't horrible either. Snake Eyes himself is awesome and shouldn't be passed up, even if you've got the V1.

He's not sculpted to get a sitting position. Pooping at best.

The front leg was backward on my Timber as well but the joints swivel on the front legs so I just rotated it to the correct position. Easy fix!

Did anyone else get a shiny indention on the forehead of the visor head from the packaging?

I really like the Snake Eyes. The heads really do look better in hand than the pictures show.

I honestly think that is as intended. possibly magnified by the packaging.

I double checked the proto pics and you can see the same marking.

Edit: Nevermind. But yes everyone I've seen has the same thing.

Received my SE 2.0 yesterday and and a great time picking just how I want to gear him up. Definitely need to echo the talk that the figure (and the heads) look great in person. The visor head almost feels like it was included specifically to replace the goofy looking one from the first version they did, and it looks super nice there. I've been waiting a while for a replacement body that I like for the original too, and I think I may buy 2nd body of ebay from this figure just for that purpose, if only for the sweet and totally cool inclusion of the tattoo.

Thanks for all the pics willworkfortoys!

And looking at the exclusive Timber I just realized what's wrong with the snarling head, the ears should be pinned back. I think that would help the sculpt look more menacing.

Also the more pics of the goggle head I see, the more it's growing on me. It's still not perfect but the head doesn't look as out of proportion as earlier pics shown.
I might pick this up sometime down the road, but with the holidays approaching canceling it was the best choice.

Nope, the other "folds" on the mask are raised and this is pressed in. The indention lines up with the molded plastic tray where it holds the head in. Plus there is some black rub marks on the plastic tray so...:pfft: :)

So the visor on the new head has been scaled down a bit in comparison with the first visor?
I like the cloth hood on the first version, but the slightly oversized visor is what ruins it for me.

So far with the figure I like what I see. I put the Saves sweater on the original body, looks good. Might go with a TT later. Some more tweaks and I'll post up some pics.

Timber is huge and heavy, but yea hard to pose. I think some lateral leg movement would help.

The head looks good in person. A little larger overall than say Firefly head, but everything lines up well.

The pants are a little high waisted and I hate kneepads. What I hate most about them on these pants is when in a crouched position, the pads are far above the knees defeating the purpose of them. :lol

Also I bet Snow Job comes in this exact same outfit only in white.

Finally opened him up. Basically the goggled head is a non-issue. That wonky Frankenhead seems to be distorted in pics as in person, it's not noticeable. Other than that a few things I haven't yet seen mentioned yet, the hands are done in a softer material so it's easier to grip items and the knees are finally perfected. No more of the "damn, am I gonna break this?" stiff rubber knees. Swapped him to the Commando sweater and tucked it in. Definitely recommend it to those who want a more classic SE. I'll probably leave the body since the arms don't look near as ridiculous as I thought they would.

Timber, on the other hand, is a waste. He barely holds himself up and the articulation makes zero sense, since you really can't get more than a couple poses out of him. They should've gone with a polystone wolf and just included a swapout head.

Also, important for those not taking off the ski jacket. Be mindful of the shirt beneath. When I stripped him down to swap to the Commando sweater, the sleeves of the shirt had been twisted into the shoulder joints I'm guessing while they put the coat on at the factory. So if you guys aren't paying attention, it's very possible you could rip the sleeves right off the torso and wind up with them tangled in the joints.
