I'm an old school Joe fan and never paid any attention to ninja farce and crap like that, so what am I missing about a weasel skull necklace? I assume its a Kwinn homage of some sort.

The necklace has absolutely nothing at all to do with Ninja Force.

Yep, SE picked them up from Kwinn way back in GI Joe #2.

Snake Eyes' new undershirt looks heavy enough (in the pictures) to be a sweater to me. But we'll see for sure when he ships.

It'd be nice if SSC had two SE's on display at SDCC this year. One with visor and shirt the other with goggles and jacket. I bet it will just be the goggles though since that's the main selling point of the new figure.

Yep, SE picked them up from Kwinn way back in GI Joe #2.

Yeah and then Wild Bill and Snake Deep Sixxed the necklace when Kwinn died. My entire knowledge and concept of GI Joe is based on the first 75 or so issues, I never read the spin offs or watched the cartoons (did see Rsolute, tho), so I didn't know if Snake Eyes remade the necklace later or something. Necklace is cool tho', but I'd rather see it on a scale version of 6'10 hulking eskimo Kwinn. As a nice bonus, they could use that same body recolored for Roadblock.

I have 4 comics in the 66-72 range in poor condition.

Recently found them cleaning out a closet at my Dads. Too bad I hasn't a bigger Joe comic fan back then.
FYI the cartoons Renegades & ARAH are now to be streamed on Netflix.

I'm not too sure. While that makes perfect sense, that's not what Sideshow did with the 1:6 statue last year.

For all the things that bug me with this I went ahead and ordered an Ex version tonight, figured even if I didn't like it when it comes at the end of the year someone will take it off my hands.

I still think it's going to be a good figure. I've been thinking about ordering this for the last week but I'm still trying to figure out the "16 points of articulation", which makes no sense. One person said it is probably a typo but I'll just wait it out. I doubt the exclusive is going to sell out anytime soon.

You can call and ask them to confirm the typo. It's the same body as Rock 'n' Roll so I don't see how there'd be half the articulation.

Good idea. I am thinking of getting one of the cheaper figures like the desert sniper, desert commander, or Figrin Dan. But I also want to pick up a Snake eyes that is being sold cheap in the commerce section...so I need to see how much I can swing right now. I will likely miss out on this coupon.
