Sideshow Snake Eyes and Timber 1/6th Figure Set

Nice photos and poses, Rook. I've been seeing lots of cool mods on this forum; some cool head sculpts too. It'd be nice to see more sample shots of the new Snake Eyes. So quick questions, is this a Commando version, and is there a Ninja version?

I posted my kit bash and got bashed for it because I didn't know that there's a Ninja version versus a Commando version? lol.

Don't know why you'd be bashed, your Snake looks pretty good. The original Joe Snake Eyes Ninja was pretty much just a stylized black ninja uniform, so with the stuff avavilable it would probably be fairly easy to kitbash. Tons of reference material in the early comics to it.

We'll have to wait and see but to me the proto looked like the goggled head sculpt had goggles sculpted on. The tiny sliver of light in the first pick leads me to believe the goggles are separate (and they look slightly larger to me) from the head so I'm wondering if there is a scarred face under there and a bulging eye. Also looks like they've added an extra flash bang (i.e. 2 instead of 1) so I'm hoping there may be some more accessories.

Some people were complaining that Timber's right front paw didn't look "broken enough" and it looks like Sideshow obliged them.

These updates made me more excited for this figure. I'm not really hard to please accuracy-wise, I guess

I really like the fact that the leg pouches are sporting plastic buckles instead of those frustrating velcros!
