Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

This really is one of the most amazing statues ever produced by sideshow.

This is true, but it is also one of the most flawed. So beware, if you buy off ebay make sure you see a lot of pix. Quality control was shat. :lecture

Thanks for the heads up everyone. Off to ebay I go. Thanks King Darkness. I will be looking for the flaws before I buy.

Good luck JAWS and hope that you can find yourself a keeper.

What do you guys think about the little flaws on this great statue?

I've notice that one of the fingers for the hand on the wall is not touching the wall piece...also the foot against the window has a very very slight gap on it. I also noticed that the paint job is not perfect......I mean, nothing to be upset about in my opinion but I was wondering what you guys think about these little things.

too picky imo!!!come on!!it's hand painted ...if sideshow starts to paint these with machines, then some will say it's not handpaint and there starts the cycle...

Unfortunately, minor flaws must be accepted with this piece. I've had 3 different statues in-hand, and none came close to being "perfect."

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

I was really surprised how perfect my Spidey came, this will never leave my grips although my Thanos Dio the week before came in horrible condition.

Yes Kinkbutt, you are on the floor, don't do the switcheroo comeback, it's so lame.

I think I am going to pull the trigger on this on ebay tonight. I have to choose between this or the Jason part 3 PF. While I really like Jason I don't love the PF. I don't know why. I know I will like it when I see in hand photos. My best friend is getting the EX so I guess I feel that I can see it anytime I want to that way.

This Spider-man statue I just can't get out of my head. I like the character but I love this statue. As I have said this is the best statue SS has done so far IMO. He will also fit my collection better. Three fav. Marvel characters on one side of the room, along with Comi Hulk and Punisher and three fav movie PFs on the other with Conan, Indiana and the R2 and 3PO PF when they get released.

My Bruce NTT is in the center. Jason, I feel, would somehow upset the flow of the room.

And it really comes down to which statue has the WOW factor and that is the comi Spider man. I have tried to hold off and forget about it. I thought he would just go away like other statues I have thought about getting in all the hype. But this is really is such a great piece it has me in it's webbing.

The Only other piece I would want more is if SS got the DC licence and made a bad ass Batman Comiquette.

Would you guys choose Spidey over Jason? Just want to know.

Anyways, wish me luck.

I would def go with Spiderman, although both are great buys. Good luck.

Well there's one less Spider-Man Comiquette on Ebay. I couldn't resist anymore and I also was thinking about this one more than I should.
