dont know how they can better this one, unless they make bigger one like the hulk vs diorama spidey on top of the signal, im so glad i got 1 when i could even though had to shell out 650$ including shipping

My only minor critique of this statue (apart from the paint apps) is that the eyes are a tad large for my tastes, and the body is a bit too slim and exaggerated. At the risk of agreeing with Buzzybean, a more classical Spidey that has more a conventional body size and smaller eyes would be a welcome addition to my collection.

No, I'm only really interested in comic incarnations. Just more the pre-1990s, McFarlane influenced comic versions.

Don't get me wrong. I love this Comiquette. It's one of my favorite collectibles. But being someone who grew up reading comic books in the 1980s and watching those cartoons, etc., it still isn't ideal to my eyes.

the new bowen is close to the comics from the 80s i think, but its too small for my liking and weird base if u ask me,

Yeah, I've seen some great Bowen Spidey stuff. But size (as well as the fairly vanilla poses and high relative costs) is a deal-breaker for me with the Bowen statues.
