You know the one thing I am not sure of with this piece is are the reds and blues all one consistent color or are there variations. I don't see a lot of variations in the bright light pics.

Man, I'm going to try to answer this w/o bias and without any intention either praise or criticize this piece (which, for the record, I do own) or the new JS Campbell piece (which I only have seen pics of).

This comq seems to be more subtly shaded than the JSC, but by no means is it just evenly red and evenly blue. The variations are gradually blended. But it really works because he is in a tight, compact pose and his musculature are highly dense... so you don't have vast expanses of flesh like Hulk where you do need shading. The combination of crouched pose and dense musculature create their own shadows or shading, if you will. Hope that helps.

Good to know... I have had some leads on a few damaged pieces that I may need to repaint portions of them... You never know.

Also, if anyone here happens to have a extra prime one of these to sell ... Well...Today IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!:pray::pray:

Thank you for the kind words everyone :rock:rock This piece certainly is not flawless but it's one of the better ones I've seen and I absolutely love it. The JSC one is amazing as well! But I am happy with one Spidey in the collection.

And take your Spiderman comiquette out of storage people!!! Display him proudly!

He's such a cool piece, hope you manage to find one soon

Lol... I noticed him in the background of your DeadPool pics...lol. He is very awesome, and I am working on it m8... Lol. However, I can see how he would get in trouble if you didn't know very much about the hobby. I have had TWO eBay sellers offer me their pieces at a considerable discount, but ONLY IF I paid them with a PayPal gift...:slap. I have never even been tempted to be that dumb till now...lol

Haha yup I had to display him again, he's too cool to be kept hidden in a box.

It's ok to buy it off eBay but I'm sure you know not to do gift payments over PayPal.
Just be patient and you'll end up finding one eventually.

Oh I know... Just saying I can see how it can be tempting. I really can't wait to see this bad boy in my collection.

Well, took the hit and snagged the ex off of eBay (sorry Spidey!!).. A lot of money but not too bad for me, approx. double the money I would've paid for him at retail with shipping and taxes. And he's worth the double, quite possibly the best piece ever made! ;)

Lol Hewitt I saw this last night and could have snagged it HOURS AGO, but I decided to wait on a couple of guys here. Congrats on the purchase Hewitt from the pics it looked AWESOME!!!!

Yeah I saw it too last night but had to sleep on it before splashing out all that money. :p But there's nothing to think about with such an awesome figure. And there's not too many sellers who's willing to ship it internationally. Hope you get yours soon Spidey, really feeling your desire all over the forum nowadays. ;)
