____. I was hoping that Thor would be my next PF, but this throws a monkey wrench into things. Spidey is a must buy, and I'm not gonna wait long to pick him up, so I guess he's next on my list.

Just await the Thor comiquette instead.
Really though, the Thor PF is righteously majestic.

Yeah, I have Spidey, Hulk, and Thanos Dio all coming soon.

I'm in the exact same boat. All 3 hitting right around christmas. What the hell is SSC thinking? What the hell do I tell my wife? I know... I'll tell her Hulk is her christmas gift, Spidey is for my oldest son, and Thanos is for my youngest son.

Hmmm, what statue should I pick up for my own gift?

I think idea is great.... The OPTION to get this early is there. If you don't want to take a hit on the wallet early, just leave it as is and take it in January

Id be weary and careful of an early shipment offers. I notice that the first batch of Ms Marvel did have some minor paint app problems (whats new?) I know.. but I think they were a bit more blatant.. IE-Chips on the base and eyeliner screwups. I did sign up to have mine processed on the 10th ... I just hope I dont have to request a replacement.

yeah my MS Marvel came completely screwed the whole thing was botched i had hair issues with them no gluing the piece on properly. The arm came broken and there was a chip in the base!

First wave for me.

If there's a problem, I'll send it back and get another one. Nice knowing there will be a second wave for a replacement.

Unfortunate that the return policy has to be so important when you buy a Sideshow piece. Would be nice if returns were the exception and not the norm.

When did SS mention anything about separate waves? They're getting the product in early and offering different ship dates because of the holidays/ other shipping products. No mention of a split shipment/ second batch anywhere.

It's the nature and complexity of the webbing on Spider-Man's costume that would make me concerned about QC issues. This would hold true if the statue was from any company.

They didn't mention anything about separate waves, now that you mention it. Regardless, earlier is better if you would be in need of a replacement.

yeah i think they're just trying to give peeps a choice to spread out some of the goodness as so much stuff is hitting at once.
ssc is just trying to avoid mass cancellation for other pieces imo.

sad but true. just like anymore spidey villians that come will also be 1/5. so that means ssc will have to make a 1/5 venom, carnage and spidey also. damn double dippers.

Hmm, I can't see them selling very well at 1/5 scale if they make those tho'. I know I won't pick them up, rather get another 1/4 scale Spidey to custom or something.

They should diversify by going 1/2 scale or something. If sideshow wants to top themselves they should go bigger not smaller.
