Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

"A little more"? I would like to know what those guys charge, then. For the statue plus the paint/work, I can't imagine it would run you less than $800-1000. To me, that's a bit higher than what this guy goes for :D

i dont know either, but i assuming IF you already have the pf, i cant imagine it being more than 300-400 just to rip off the pajamas and repaint him blue. I know its more complex than that but it shouldnt be a extremely expensive conversion. The Bran custom from BIB on the other hand , i could see running closer to 600-800 for all the work on that one. i have had many custom pieces and worked with many different artists, so thats my opinion on what it might run, so :dunno. But yea, its quite a bit more i guess :lol, but perfection they are.

Hey Barbarian, I am here to remind you that you must now show me a picture of the bottom of your base! :monkey3

Or if anyone else can, please show me the bottom of your Spidey bases.

BTW IL your pictures are just too good. I can't see any inconsistencies on your Spidey at all. Are there even any present on yours?

I even like it with pajamas.

I think the actual comiquette looks nice, but looks too "cartoony" to go with the detailed venom and carnage (imo).:peace

Much better without shiny jammies but still like the position of the comiqutte hanging off the wall better especially to go with the taller Carnage

Yo, Raiki! I left a post for you earlier that all the bases are just like yours. It's actually designed like that (for some odd reason). You can see the design on the top of the color box is the same way. It just didn't turn out too well on the base bottom.

My camera batteries were dead when I received mine, and I have a buddy coming over for some brews any second. So, I won't have any time tonight. But, if you still want it tomorrow, I'll will deliver. :)

Spidey is here and I do believe he is my new favorite statue! Took too many pics of BP yesterday and my camera battery is dead and so is my backup! I could never beat IL's shots anyway. Those pics are masterful, brother! I mean, DAMN! :rock

Hey, Raiki. The base is meant to look beat up like yours does. Mine is the same way and so is the design on the top of the color box. :)

Your pics are as amazing Barbarian :exactly: So keep 'em coming

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

Has anybody said how this is connected to the wall??? I am really intrigued

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

I mentioned it a few pages back.

There's a magnet in the right arm as it is removable. There's also a magnet in the piece of the building that Spidey's hand is on (the building piece is attached to Spidey's hand and fits into the upper part of the wall) and a peg on the left foot.

^Thank you, there are so many posts that I may have overlooked that one

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

Here's what I was talking about with the bottom of the base. The 'M' in Amazing looks like it was wiped off.

The underside of my base also looks rubbed off.
I wonder if this is a common problem.

Would some of you guys mind taking pics too so we could determine if this is actually what most of us are receiving?

mine doesn't even have smudges...it's just missing those parts of the insignia like someone just took fingerprint portions out of it
