UGHHHH Hthe base is messed on mine DAMMIT SIDESHOW outta the last 4 statues 3 of them have been either damage or poor QC.

I wanna say that I appreciate you guys being the guinea pigs by opting for the "early" release. That better ensures that these problems will get shored up when the 2nd batch gets released to retailers. Thanks very much!

If all the undersides of the bases are smudged in the same way, I can live with that. However, if it turns out that many of these shipped super clean, I'd consider asking for a replacement. Right now, I'm okay with it.

Is yours missing letters or anything like that? Mine has the 'M' in Amazing completely wiped off.

Yup. I have smudged letters. I see what you see, or a variantion of it. If we're all in the same boat, I'm cool with things. I mean, when do we ever look underneath the base anyway? However, should the time come to sell this statue, I'd hate to have to lose money over it.

Back to the potential base issue:



Here is a pic of my base. Apparently others have received similar bases (so far). Now, this is NOT MEANT TO SAY that all the bases are like this. It could very well be just the first few of us as pics are only now popping up. Let's not start a panic please. However, it would be nice if people with a perfect base can post pics.

If they're all like this, I could live with it. The statue is stunning (though the rubbed off lettering could become an issue should I decide to sell it one day). However, if clean bases are out there, I'd ask for a new one.

By the way, there were no red sprinkles (the red ink/paint from the lettering) peppered in the styrofoam. This was placed in the box that way.
