Well thats If you can get shipping prices out of them of course. In a mad moment I thought I'd fill out one of those shipping quote forms on their site and ask how much it would cost to ship to the UK and as per they say they can't tell me until two weeks before It's shipped to me. What on earth is the point of that? It meant to be a quote and yet they can't tell me?

I wouldn't purchase anything unless I knew how much the shipping would come to. It's insane.

Yes, it does, but shipping was strangely cheaper this time, don't know why.

I know. It's one thing if I could know exactly how much it would end up costing me, but I won't. And if I don't know the shipping and if I recall correcly I need to know the total amount of the item and shipping before I can calculate import fees.

Is rent really that cheap over there? Rent must be a LOT higher in the US. Don't even get me started on my mortgage.

You can get a one room apartment in a small city for that about that amount, yeah. If I include the unknown shipping amount and import fee (anyone know how much these pieces usually cost to ship to Europe?) I might be able to get a two room apartment.

You never know. I've seen stranger, especially with these pieces. They're unpredictable at times.

First off I am very lucky, I get a special deal through the largest importer of toys and games in the Netherlands. Reason I have been personal friends with the owner for more than fifty five years.

I can definitely understand that. Shipping is a killer on some of these pieces. A deal will come around though.
