Yeah, those are really awesome pics, omagro! The creativity that people put into these pics is always so great to see.:clap

Still haven't resolved my "two left feet and visor issue". Returns guy at SS is taking his sweet time. It's been three business days since he first replied to my email reminding me that the figure comes with two sets of feet. Really?

Interesting how if you look inside the helmet, you can see that SSC planned to make the visor flip up, but for some reason decided not to do it and just glued it in place. It has carefully done seams all the way around and hinges (that are all glued rigid.)

Just ordered mine from SSC.

Initially I thought of ordering from my local retailer to save on shipping, but it seems their stock have been fully booked.

Guess this item is pretty popular.

Didn't know if anyone else has tried this so I thought I'd share the info. The Sideshow helmet is able to flip up just like the Tomy one. For mine all I did was apply pressure along the seams on either side until I heard two "pops" then the front visor could swing open. It is held in place with two little snaps down and the bottom of the helmet on either side and a little bit of glue. It's already hinged and ready to go. I'll be using this third scout that I got yesterday for my Nik Sant custom. Just have to dremmel out the head post and it'll be good to go. This way I won't have to mutilate the head sculpt as bad getting it to fit in the smaller Tomy helmet.

Interesting to see how easy it was to open the helmet.

Maybe SS plan to release another version later, with a Nik Sant head in place of the white tube?

I have to admit... one of the first things I did when I got my scout in my hands was try to lift the visor... and it looked like it could. But alas it did not.

I AM SO IMPRESSED BY THE BOLD ACTIONS OF OUR FORUM MEMBERS to pop the visor free. AMAZING.

I think it's excellent that this is now a possibility. However once you have scout faces... wont we, I know I will be, tempted with the obsession to add human heads to ALL our other troops? Why not have human heads under our stormtrooper buckets? Snowtroopers. Tie Pilots. It would be fun! Different faces of course... NOT CLONES. Gives them character.

IT WILL NEVER END.

Awesome, I can't believe they included an unfinished head sculpt inside the helmet!

And of one of my favorite muppets no less! Might have to finish it off with some putty, paint and fur.

Another SS head sculpt fail. Paint is soft (very soft) and they eyes look like an eskimo. HT Beaker FTW. It will beat ALL Beaker headsculpts. EVER.......

hahhaa you guys are the biggest trolls of the internet.

hey spud! post some pics! Did the heads have to be pretty small to fit in the stormy buckets? I have a bunch of extra WW2 Soldier Story heads that would probably work AMAZING... if they'd fit.

I could also see a female tie fighter pilot... that'd be awesome

I've actually used some soldier story bodies and heads on some of my Marmit sandtroopers and stormtroopers. Didn't have to alter the heads at all on them because the Marmit buckets are hollow.
