Hi are you just getting the figure on its own as I was not sure about the bike it looked a shade lighter colour than the movie? Have to make a decision whether to get the bundle or just the figure!!!! hmmm

I'm just getting the figure itself. I have a few things coming around that time and have no room for it either!!
But the speeder bike does look pretty neat too.

There is no hold up. The Stormtroopers were an anomaly and were finished much quicker than anyone expected. There were originally scheduled for Q3 2015. There are numerous products that were previewed before the Stormtroopers and we're still waiting for them.

I think it's a safe bet that most of what's been offered for Star Wars by Hot Toys has been "ready" for some time....there was a long period after the Bespin Luke figure when it seemed like nothing was happening...some rumors swirled ( a DX ANH Han, a DX EpIII Anakin*) but no new figures came out during the remainder of that "arrangement" that HT had with Sideshow.. Then Lucas sold SW to Disney...and we may never know if HT had some inside knowledge of that and wanted to "run out the clock" on any arrangement they had with Sideshow and just held back several figures they had in development for a while until their own deal with Disney was set.
That's all speculation of course, but...I don't think HT got these troopers "done" any faster than most other figures...I think they were "ready" for a while...so it may seem like it was faster...but maybe not....
As for Sideshow's Scout Troopers....as far as I'm concerned, they can take the time they need to render them well...it's not a speed competition here...there are plenty of other figures between now and then that can have our attention....

Very tempting to get both the bike and scout just need the space just waiting for my stormtrooper to arrive and may get R2 & C3PO.........and money!!!!!

My first flex pay was taken already for the EX.Soon it time for my first flexpay on the EX. Been debating if I really need the EX but I think Im going to keep my order. Will have to work extra to afford more sandtroopers

This and the Speeder Bike both looked pretty nice from the Celebration pictures. I cancelled my order a while back but might re-order when the final figure is released. I almost wonder with all the Hot Toys Troopers though if it'd be better to just wait it out.

Yeah. Not sure if I'll get the Speeder Bike though. I'd love to have it but just not sure if I want to throw the money at buying one.

I'm guessing it'd be years before we see a Scout from HT. I'd like to be wrong, but SSC's hasn't even shipped yet.

It seems like they're going in order in terms of the movies, so yeah it could be 2017 before we see Jedi figures. I imagine they'll spend all of next year with Empire.

The hands on this figure dont look like ball joints...am I right? The look like swivel and are lacking different hand poses

Actually I think you'll see them spend most of next year with The Force Awakens and hit up the original films in between releases. It is Hot Toy's M.O. to strike while the iron is hot, I don't think you'll see them skip out suddenly here just to do designs from the originals.

Agreed. While it's a certainty that HT will do Snowtroopers and Scouts, at some point, I'd bet it's years away (guess: 2018). There's no sense in them touching those characters so soon after SSC's already done them and when they have other designs galore to focus on from the new trilogy. On the other hand, I do think they'll take advantage of the new TFA license to release an R2.

Wouldn't surprise me though if Hot Toys announces stuff from both. We're gonna have so many TFA announcements around the release of the film this Christmas. Not sure I'll grab very much from it though. Wanting to keep my collection mostly OT.
