1/6 Sideshow Star Wars Scout Trooper 1/6th Scale Figure

Somewhat concerned by the bright-white fabric mid section (I think it's supposed to be slightly yellowish like canvas) but the lighting was pretty dark so hard to confirm.

In the film there were some bright white ones,

and some grubbier ones,

But Sideshow seem to have gone for an odd mix of heavily weathered armour with whiter parts.

The cummerbund was the part that put me off from the first with this figure. It looked too stiff and awkward, like a re-run of their Boba Fett vest. It looks a bit softer in the video.

It does look a little white in the video, but I'm really excited for this. Maybe the fabric part needs regular replacing after patrolling at high speed through the forest?

The base is a really nice addition for me, adds alot to the display.

It wasn't I was there.

The bike was the production piece, the scout himself was the prototype. I am sure that there will be little difference between the production and promo. It's not a hard character to get down.

How could you tell it was the proto Biker? The guys seemed to be pulling pieces from a production-type clear tray, but maybe they get proto trays sent ahead.

No need to contemplate. Just go for it like I did. You can get 1 Han or Chewbacca or Luke.
But you cannot just get enough of those troopers. Stormtroopers, Snow Troopers, Sand Troopers and Now Scout Trooper.

Until I see how elongated/stretched the helmet looks on the production figure and in-hand, I'm sticking with only one Scout. To me they didn't quite nail this as well as they did ATAT driver and TIE pilot. I hope it's not that noticeable in-hand.

This "scream face" (vertically elongated mouth) has been an issue since day one with this fig though....

Not on screen, not care. I have a couple exceptions but the rifle here is not one of them
