Yeah.. about those reward points.. I was never a sideshow collector. And my first pf in years from SS, coming the way it did, kinda soured my expectations from sideshow that Im going to cancel my Ivy statue now and probably not purchase from this company. I was head over heels on this babydoll statue and it completely ruined my experience with the damaged quality. Besides, theres up and coming companys producing nice statues as of late. Quality control is going to be at a high standard with these newer companys.

Sideshow responded to me regarding the abrasion on her forearm and bent sword with a surprisingly condescending letter about how these are "hand made statues" that will all have "inconsistencies" if you "look hard enough" and that none of their replacements will be an improvement over the one I have. Wow.

I'm actually very surprised given the amount of seemingly perfect samples that have been displayed. They treated me as a first time customer who is impossible to please and doesn't understand the process of how they make collectibles. I've purchased over a dozen figures/PF's and this was only the second time I've contacted them about any flaws. I've heard about Sideshow's drop in customer service but this is the first time I've experienced it.

They still offered a $30 partial refund for the damage but money isn't an issue for me. I just wanted a product without any defects. So no Babydoll for me, I'm returning for a full refund.

Sorry to hear.

I am a long time SS collector and am completely dismayed by the "take it or leave it" attitude they have these days.

Significant quality issues are occuring with almost every statue they make and it seems they could care less.

Whomever is handling the qc in that factory, probably should be seeking a job else where.

I would have done the same. SS really doesn't understand that we're paying nearly 400 for these pieces and all we want is some quality reassurance?

sideshow has nothing to worry about cause no matter how many customers complain, they will keep buying ! if they had NO sales, then they would listen.

Sorry this happened to you, Khev.

Out of the very few times I've contacted Sideshow's CS department, I've never had a bad experience with them.

That's a good idea! I think Spazzy is a member over at SF...maybe he can get some members from over there to join in. :D

I had that same bs email, and I had MANY issues. I am still waiting for a response from my last email responding to the auto email. daniel Campisi never gave me this much trouble, and a day+ to get a response each time.

hand made statues...that's the beauty of SS statues pfft...beauty doesn't include scratches and chips

I will show some more pics when it is finished, I added to the sides of the bullet, and will clean it up a bit more, then I will start trying to get more names.

Maybe do a Kickstarter and fund it at 20-25 people.

hmm...interesting.

This really bothers me with this latest policy on damage items. I'm going to have to think about this for future damage items. If there's no replacements then this hobbie is done for me.

Not too happy with customer service Daniel must be on vacation, always smooth with him.
I was offered a credit on the portrait, but nothing on the body which has multiple scratches unfinished paint and a chip on the front of the shoe but nothing offered, about to accept a full refund and just buy the regular cheaper somewhere else

How can there be no exchanges when there's plenty of regs and this item just came out? Seriously this new take it or leave it policy is not mixing well at all with me.

Geez, sorry to hear.

There should be some kind of compensation for this.
I mean, what if some of the packages on that vehicle were 'Next-day', or '2-day', etc?

Anyway, I hope this is sorted out for you soon. Hang in there CBG.

Possibly, I don't think I am being over picky maybe I just waited too long and not much to choose from

Damn, CBG, you have the worst luck of anyone I know, bro. I hope you get Babydoll soon and in excellent condition. :1-1:

I'd sell the PF to a Freak who wants it and keep the reward points. :D

Thanks bros. I called them all night yesterday and this morning with no new reaponse or update. so I went to my big meeting today. After the meeting I called my tracking and it was at the my 24hr closest fed ex :)
Finally I rushed to pick it up after the meeting. when I got to my fed ex. I gave them my slip. They looked all over and could not find it? Wtf happen?so I called again and it was shipped to another fed ex 45 mins out of my way. :slap :gah: this sucks! It's rush hr here now, so there's no way I'm driving in it. It would take me over 2 hrs to get there with super heavy traffic like this. Fed ex said thats where it was sent and theres nothing they can do about it. I ask them if they can resend it to my closer fed ex which is only 20 mins from me. They said sorry no we dont transfer more than once. So even if its thier fault theres nothing they can do. Now I'm more nervous about getting my BD with damage and SS won't give me a replacement. The suspense is killing me because I know I will love this sculpt. The wait is fine as long as I get a good statue. Please make my statue come in good condition :pray::pray: I will pick this up tomorrow....again with SS new no replacement policy this is killing me thinking I might get one with something wrong. This entire no replacement policy just sucks so bad. :impatient:
