Superman was also made in that very same factory... so yeah Spidey. Your dead on with your assessment here. Where the prototype is sent and then mass produced makes a significant difference in the final product

I 100% agree on the factories. :lecture

Well that settles it. If Superman was made there then we KNOW it is one of the best factories. I gotta wonder if the new techniques the workers at the factory learned helped them get the Superman portraits so bang on when it came to the paint job.

Funny thing is bro I don't know that it's one of the best factories. It is a factory that XM personally went to and taught the workers how they wanted their statues painted. Weird... How these releases seemingly came out looking so nice right?

My knowledge is that XM picked this factory because it is one of the best, and that the workers specifically asked if they could use their new skills on other companies statues. So Tavegg maybe you can tell me, I think you have both the SSC Superman and the XM Cap. How do the portrait paint jobs compare??

It's not a fair comparison as cap is fully painted and Superman is really just hands and face but my opinion on both of them is high quality paint apps. They both look fantastic as does Gladiator hulk

I am mainly focused in the paint jobs on the faces of both statues, are the comparable?? I am just think that obviously the new techniques really work if they are.

Well comparable is subjective. We have a very realistic Alex Ross interpretation vs a comic style captain America. As for quality yes its apparent in both portraits. The reg superman portrait is one of the nicest painted portraits on a SS statue imo. And the xm cap is also painted to perfection. Is there a link to the two because of it being the same factory? I think so

Then it must be the good face paint factory which bodes well for MOS. But wait, if they are painting MOS who are they not painting :horror

So there's pretty much no way to know if a pre-order is going to turn out awesome or like crap?

Shipping soon. Last flex on Saturday + $40 shipping to UK.

You guys will get yours before mine shows up, I hope you bring good news as he makes his way across the Atlantic.

It all depends really. The MJ and Gwen JSC Comiquettes turned out to look almost identical to the prototypes, and then they totally messed up with Spiderman, and his release was completely riddled with QC issue. It can totally be a crap shoot, and that is unfortunately just the way it is.
