Has anyone seen the Puppet Master films? He looks exactly like one of the puppets from those flicks. The puppet even uses blades, his name may have been Blade.

After seeing this movie tonight, I would so buy a 12 inch figure of V (and Evey).

Saw it last night.... EXCELLENT film! I loved the series and was worried that they would change too much of it or worse.... show his face... :horror

But, they did a remarkable job. Even kept some of his dialog exactly the same (a shock to me). Hugo played him with perfection, making me wonder why they had that Purefoy chap lined up to play him initially. Weaving was perfect for the role, bringing life to a faceless character.... All the while making some pretty hilarious moments.

If you enjoyed the comic or just like some political commentary.... SEE THIS FILM!

Only if SSC could get the license.... man... I would buy it in a heartbeat! V is the Man!! :D

yes, Loki... My dad had me watch these when I was a kid. I remember that character more than any.. And yeah he kinda looks like V, just with a kinda 1800's suit... If I remember correctly.

He had the little Kronen style knives that would come out of his arms.. cool series...

I'm going to customize my 12" Blade from Puppet Master into a V figure.

Liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would. I doubt we'd be able to get a SSC figure from it, but a Medicom one would seem pretty likely.

Saw it last night and thought it rocked. They stayed pretty close to the comic, so Moore should have stuck it out a bit longer.

And Weaving was awesome as V.

I think it's the best movie I've seen this year, and it also tops the movies I saw last year. I think I'll see it again in a few days.

I agree that the movie is a must see. Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman rocked.

I would definitely buy a 12" figure of V from Sideshow if they made one. One company has produced a replica of the mask from the movie. I've seen it. Don't know if Sideshow could get the license though.

I just got back and must say that whilst I enjoyed it. I thought that Moore was right to kick up a stink. If they'd stuck to the original story I think it would have made it a much stronger impact.

Then again...I did think that it was ace and would buy a V and shaved Evey in a heartbeat, Finch too. Rea has such an expressive face that I think Andy B. could do a really nice sculpt.

I was just thinking about going to see this movie... it's pretty much unanimous that people like it? What if you have never read the original material and really have no idea what it's about, would you still like it as much? I'm pretty familiar with it, but my friend who wants to go to a movie tonight is not.... and I'm sad to say she's not a big comicbook fan....
