well somebody make the darn figs! i know HT would do it up nicely but so would SS for about half the price lol.
i bet we end up seeing some from Medicom.

This really seems like a likely property of Medicom. Dark figure, lots of leather and weapons, non-human likeness and the only character (most people) would want from the movie... too bad he'll be a shorty :monkey2

Wouldn't he be announced by now if they were going to make him? Could DC do a one time deal with Sideshow if they have no plans for him?

This coming from a guy with those crappy pre-school Star Wars figures from Hasbro in his collection.

Ok if your being serious, your going to far. Dont go judging everyone else here when your clearly the one with problems. Insulting what another person collects is disgraceful, even coming from you.

And I mean that in the nicest possible way.

Alright fellas....
We are all good collectors here....one guy's gold is another guy's garbage. It's eye of the beholder stuff anyway... right?
Agree to dissagree guys. Seriously! :D

Weren't we talking about a V figure here????
I think we'll see a 12" one from Medicom sooner than anyone else. Just my feelings on it.

I would be absolutely fine with a Medicom V. SSC would be nice (and cheaper, which is always good), but I don't hold out much hope for that. Like FigureMasterLes, I think Medicom is the most likely candidate to give us V.

yeah, i'd be happy w/ a Medi V too except for the height issue. i'm sure it'd look great especially since it's just have to look like the mask rather than an actor.

Can someone explain why Medicom chooses to make their bodies shorter than everyone else?

Ouch... but in all seriousness I have like 7 Medicom figures too... I just keep them separated so no one makes them feel bad :lol

He done the same by me first.

Did I!?! I wasn't aware I made fun of anyone's collections, so sorry if I did. But in all honesty I know they're crappy (so if its retaliatory it won't hurt my feelings), but there's something very kitschy about them that drew me in. And surprisingly Vader is pretty well sculpted.

I didn't see this movie until it was released on DVD - and I absolutely loved it. I saw the link someone provided to the site in Europe that had what appeared to be a statue (now sold out). Is anything like that still available here in the State?

Would love for some company to do a V. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

V 12"
there's the link to the UK store that had the figure. I'm sure you could get it shipped to US, but it will cost ya.

JustinLuck,
A thought came to mind about the scale size on 1:6 scale figure market, West verses East. Remember that that the U.S. still measures in “standard/inch” verses the rest of the world measures’ using the, “metric system”.

A 1/6 scale averages in about 12 inches in height in the standard/inch yet if you convert in that, same/average 1/6 scale figure using the metric system, millimeter (mm). The conversion would be, 1 inch = 25.4mm. This means 11.8 inches tall. And depending on the subject these 1/6 scale figures could be larger than 12 inches in height or smaller, i.e. Medicom's Darth Vader or Wolverine (comic version), Hot Toys Predator

Just a thought.

Be Well,

Ben

:D I want a 12 inch V for my collection i saw the NECA one if im not wrong but i want a SS one i think it will look really cool
