The main reason they're a two pack from my understanding is the demand for both was so high that choosing one over the other was a lose/lose for SS.

Also selling them together makes more sense as if they released them separately the closet SS grumblers would start their engines with "they're trying to milk us for all of our $$$"... If you can't imagine the voice just deposit a world of angst and feelings of anti-establishment... or just think CF.:D

I can care less why they decided to make this a two-pack. All I know is that I'm getting the version of Palpatine I always wanted in 1/6 scale AND the version of Sidious that I wanted.

:emperor

:chew :chew :chew :chew

I'm with ya in excitement anyways. I'm just glad this way I don't have to wait for each to come out separately.

FOOLS!:emperor They're milking you for all you're worth! They're laughing all the way to the bank!

:rotfl:rolleyes:

I wonder if in this chain of film based ES, the Exclusive Edition of the 2-pack will be limited to 2005.

I hope the lightning bolt idea gets left far behind. Sorry you guys who want lightning so bad, but I think it would just look dumb.

I agree. I don't think plastic lightning could be done all that well. I guess it's possible, but I don't really like the idea of it.

I don't think we'll see lightning in this scale. To look even somewhat decent they'd have to be about a foot long and that extra weight would just drag down his arms, or at least thats what I imagine would happen :monkey3

Maybe they'll go extra crazy and have his super crazy just got f'd up by Mace head as the exclusive... it would work with the red robes.

I'll agree that there's really no way to do it without it seeming a little cheesy, but at the same time, it's a highly defining trait of the character. For what little he used it, I wouldn't care about it with Dooku, but with Palpatine, it's his trademark weapon, more so than a lightsaber.

How badass a display would it be if you had Palpatine, Mace and Anakin together, a nice blue LED spotlight, Sith lightning shooting from fallen Palpatine's hands with Anakin onlooking. UNLIMITED POWERRRR!!

Marc is right, lightning-hands would look dumb. I wonder if the two pack will have an exclusive item in the first place. A voice chip for the Emperor would be cool though: LORD VADER... RISE!

I would and wouldn't like that.

I'd like it only if it was an actual McDiarmid recording and not some cheap sound-alike.

I wouldn't like it for the fact that the audio Sideshow figures have only the rotating necks, and I don't want that limitation.

The more I think about it the cheesier it sounds.

What might the exclusive be?

His f'd up head?(as suggested earlier)

Death Star plans he was viewing when Anakin walked in on him?

A holo of Anakin?-the likley route

Crisy Anakin (as suggested earlier, that would ROCK!)

The table Vader was strapped on?-unlikley
