OMG when I saw this I actually said “_____ing hell” out loud.

This is just so good it’s ridiculous :bow:bow

Thank you everybody. I'm hoping all the Walter Whites I'm working on now come out this good.

That Tom Hanks head is incredible! Your painting skills are inspirational! :) How did you achieve that fine stubble?!

I'm convinced he's just figured out how to make these heads grow beards :lol

It's a combination airbrush trick and Ch-ch-ch-Chia Pet technology.:lol

:thud:  :eek That.....is.....____ing awesome!!!! How you made it?! Hey...can you try make video with how you painted any HS? I didn't want tutorial (useless, because I can never be on your god-level paint job), but only for watching how god makes his babies!!! This is really....speechless work!!!!!!

Thanks guys. The person who wanted this painted sent me the most amazing references of Tom Hanks, including a great shot of his eyes. I really wanted the eyes to be something special since Tom does a lot of acting with his eyes alone.

:goodpost::lol That was awesome. Thanks. I have played with the idea of doing a video or book tutorial, and I'm finding out that many people might actually like to see one. I'll give that some more serious consideration.

I said it before and I'll say it again. I'd personally love to see you do a painting video tutorial. You could even do what Adam Beane did and use kickstarter to try to fund the video.

Thanks to you all.

I am considering that more and more, and I did see what Adam did with kickstarter, which reminds me, I'd still like to get his sculpting video and see if I have any ability with that as well. It's be nice to sculpt some of my own heads.

That is simply stunning. Wow. Heck, I feel good if I can paint plain black eyes looking in the same direction! :lol

Seeing these eyes, is just incredible.

Unfortunately Adam's video has gone through a few delays and hasn't been released yet. His last update said they were shooting for an April release. I would tell you to have patience when learning to sculpt but I do not think that will be an issue for you :) .

Thanks to you all.

Thanks for the update, Mark. I have done some sculpting before, but only in two part putty as I was altering details on figures or model kits. I am actaully very good at shaping and detailing that stuff, and I think I would be a very good sculptor. But, because there is a time limit in working with that stuff, I can't create a whole project out of it, and my only concern is that I will have to learn a new type of material. I mastered the techniques for sculpting in two part putties because the putty goes from soft to hard gradually, and I learned what kind of detail to put in at what harness. But I tried doing the same thing with Sculpy which is consistently soft or firm the whole time, and I got frustrated.

What I'm hoping to get out Adam's video is those tips and tricks a person learns along the way so I don't have to go through the who frustrating trial and error process of mastering a new art again. I've already gone through that with painting, learning as I went and picking up tips and tricks along the way. I want to learn from a master to begin with this time.
