wow, Nathan. Bravo, man....

I can't wait to finish the 3 versions of Walt I'm giving Vince and the creative team behind Breaking Bad. This is so exciting, and I'll be singing the praises of Nathan, Kuato, and Cheungkinmen.

Trev

ps- beat up Walt from season 4 is DEAD ON...SO great.

I just finished 7 Walter Whites. What a marathon. There are a lot of tricks needed to pull this guy off well, especially my favorite of the lot, the special battle damaged version. I was asked to sculpt the bandage across his nose and F him up. I personally love this one the most. More pics of this and the other heads with all the detail soon.

Likely the best paint job I have even seen in this hobby :lecture

The bruising so realistic. Age spots, and all the changes in skin tone though out the sculpt. Its hard to wrap my brain around it all.

Bottom line, you are the best. End of story.

Thanks KD. I try hard to earn that kind of response.

I'm just thrilled the show's creators are thrilled about this. Showtime took the opposite response, so its nice to see someone appreciate the compliment of having an action figure head from their show made. Makes me want to start the show even more.

You're paintings keep getting freakishly realistic. If this was a Stephen King book, one of these days you'd paint one so realistic that it would come alive and try to kill you! Maybe you should stop painting killers and pyschos and stick to Care Bears or something nice :lol

Yeah, it's too bad the other show didn't have the right attitude. Otherwise, they might also have some awesome figures of their stars as trophies.

I have thought for a moment that some of the recent heads I've painted actually winked at me, but I shrugged it off as my eyes just being tired from doing all the little eye details.

And thank you Wor-Gar and Trevor. This were tough, but a pleasure to see finished.

oh my GOD Nathan! that is scary! that paint job is so realistic! as I said before sideshow is absolutely stupid to let your talent go! man I am so jealous of your skills! keep it up brother!

with skills that good they had to let him go. The factory paint jobs could never come close to this level of skill or quality causing too many customers to be upset. :horror

Seriously though, Sideshow is crazy not to make use of your services.

Wow, great job on that Nathan, just fantastic! I LOVE the BD one, that's my favorite! It's just great when you add your own personal touches to a project! Kudos to you and Trev!

My mind is struggling to take in how good these look :huh

The work you are doing on the stubble is just so realistic and dimensional looking.

No new praise to add, I can only reiterate what everyone else has already said. Your paintjobs blow my mind. That BD Walter is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. As I've said before, your every update gets me more amped for the next! :bow

Another painting clinic. Amazing. Send the pic to JC Hong and see what happens.

I hope you do a tutorial video one day -- I think you should look at the ones by David Fisher and create an advanced lesson, rather than repeat what he's done. It would give many of us the chance to discover for ourselves that one thing can't be taught: to see with your mind's eye.

Thanks for the heads up on the Army Painter. I haven't ever paid much attention to the world of wargame miniatures, and had never heard of them.

I am beginning to despise how amazing you are at painting
Why cant i be that good :gah:

Only joking btw :lol
Just hope you start taking commissions from new customers soon.

Agreed on all.

I'm sure SS doesn't need any more of an ego stroke at this point, but yeah, he's clearly the best 1/6 painter around. :bow
