Way to go guys, that is one of the best things I've seen in years! That sculpt is breathing!

What's cool is you have the Begining (Young Oil Prospect Plainview) and the End (Old Oil King Plainview). The Alpha and Omega Rainman set is what I'm going to call it.

I'm modifying my 1/3 Sano bust. It came with that short tongue. I recast it and elongated it like the NECA (which is a hair too small to use for this kit).

Really blown away by the flushed look you were able to achieve and the salt and pepper stubble, Nathan. All the hair (head, eyebrows, moustache) also looks organic and natural. Really beautiful work.

I'm glad you asked for this version. I've seen excellent oily Plainviews before. It was fun to do something unique. This would be a great one to have at Famcon.

That stubble is simply unreal (or rather, too real)! How on earth do you achieve such realism?

I've agreed with DM that this will be the only one like it on planet earth. If you come with me to Mars though, I can hook up another one. But, ssshhh, don't tell DM.

Work is progressing forward. I've gone back and reworked my custom tongue already. Even as good as it looked, it wasn't feeling right. More pics of that later.

That's a tough call. I really liked the Rachel from Blade Runner, bald Walter White, and the Indiana Jones PF, but this one is definitely one of my most faves now.

The thing I like the most about that plainview is how you added (painted) the matted hair to his scalp. That's not sculpted I'm sure. You can do tricks with paint that I have never seen anyone else be able to pull off.

His eyebrows are not peaked like that throughout the movie, but in that last scene, the makeup guys spiked them up like that to make him look more like the devil he became. Check it out. It's there.
