I also thought the beard was too heavily sculpted, but you did a nice job of making it not look to heavy.

Hey, Josh, I know you painted the Bly heads, but do you know who painted the armor? I never did know.

Actually i have no clue who painted the armor. When i was contacted by Sideshow i was just the sculpt guy with exception of the Indy PF which i painted pretty much all that figure. Looking forward to other stuff you have coming up from them.

Reinhardt also had this Indy head (paint by Small Studios, I believe, by the look of it), but he wanted it to go onto this body.

So, I removed the neck without harming Josh Small's fine work, drilled it for the ball joint, and paint matched the body, which was a bit of a trick since I'm not sure what paint or technique Josh uses. I added hair to the neck so it would blend better, and gave him chest hair for the open shirt look.

That is going to be one hellofan Indy figure :thud: Hopefully the owner will post some pics of the completed piece!

Beauty work as always when I read your thread. need to post more. always a treat to see the great paint ups on super cool sculpts.
love that Laurence Peter O'Toole. So so awesome.

Can't wait to see what you've got in store for SSCC and beyond

Its nice to see something I've worked on myself being brought to life by such talented folk !

I agree that I should have sculpted the stubble to be a little more subtle. ( try saying that after a few pints ! :lol )

A fantastic sculpt nonetheless, definitely one of the tops Indy representations :exactly:

I'm glad you like it. I think Josh deserves more credit on this one than I do though.

Thanks. I'm not sure what I've done so far that will be at SDCC, but word is I might have plenty coming my way for SDCC between now and then.

Here's another private commission for you to gander at.

I love this sculpt, and finally I got to paint one. Nice.:yess:
