wow your paint skills are awesome i wish my will be as strong as yours are one day, i only have three sculpts under my belt.

Well, Sideshow said I could post this if I didn't hear back from them in a month, so here it is; the unused, alternate head iI painted for the 1/6 G.I. Joe Dusty.

Nice!

Yes, he looks a little Bana-ish ... but I think he also kinda looks like what Shia LaBeouf might look like at 45!

Yeah, I can see that.

@It0778: Just keep going. I was no better than a beginner when I started painting. Experience is the best teacher. Heck, not doing heads for a while gets me second guessing my skills sometimes. If you love doing it, do it all the time. That's all I did until I was good enough to make a living at it. That's the way life should be. Do what you love until you're so good people pay to see you do it.

Just wrapped up another Holy Grail of a project for Sideshow. My gods what a challenge. I new it would be involved, but I had no idea. Minus a few days here and there, I've been hard at work since June 1st making sure it makes it to SDCC. I know this one will by very closely scrutinized be all you Freaks, so I went off on it with all I had. I think the force was with me. I can't wait for the reveal.

No time to rest. One more huge hurtle to get over on the road to SDCC. God help me.

Wow, so it's really down to the wire, eh?? Still wrapping up prototypes for SDCC?? I'd have thought there'd be a cut-off time by now.

Though you can't use an Indy reference and a Star Wars reference in the same post, it will make da head asplode.

Granted, a lot of my word usage is meant to hint at things, but "Holy Grail" this time only meant a piece that is at the top of my personal list of dreams come true like the Jason Voorhess PF was.

That's not to say Indy won't be making an appearance at SDCC. I don't know what is officially confirmed for the show, but I do know of some absolutely mind blowing upcoming pieces and wouldn't be surprised if they were there.

The best Eric Bana Sculpt receives the best paint job.. Any plans on doing another version with the face camo?

Excellent work Sir Nathan..

Btw.. I sent you a PM, let me know if you get it, thanks..

I don't collect G.I. Joe, and Sideshow owns the heads I painted, so unless somebody commissions repaints of the Dusty figure, I probably won't be doing any.

Yes, I got your PM. I'll hit you back about that.:wink1:
