I painted the prototypes for the Battle Droids immediately after SDCC last year, but I think what you are going to see this year is the actual production paint jobs since the prototypes weren't fully engineered yet and my paint was way too detailed (100% screen accurate) for production purposes. I tend to overdo things. The production pieces look great though and leave plenty of room for custom weathering.

Thanks, Brant. These are production versions of my work, but the scratched Droid is a close representation of how I painted the prototypes.

I did paint one other version, yet to be revealed, with even more insane detail.

Yeah, they turned out fantastic! I've never really been a fan of them in the films/cartoon (too goofy) but these definately turned out great and look even better than what we've seen in the films IMO. These look like they could mean business instead of just screw ups

And your other one, by 'more detail' do you mean like the yellow commander droids, AotC red coloring, battle damaged, or something else?
