I got charged $33 for the Alien Big Chap Maquette the other day. This must weigh a ton.

No tax for me unless it's over a grand which is OK. Seems like the cost comes down to weight. The Berserker Pred (50kg) bust was over a grand to ship here when most life size busts are $80.

SSC has a fixed rate of $25 shipping to Canada on pretty much anything. I'd imagine an LSF would cost more but any statue or hot toy I've gotten from SSC it's always been $25 shipping

They probably struck a nice deal with Fedex since us Canadians love our Sideshow!

From what I've read, shipping to Canada used to be a _____. Glad they changed it, makes buying from them affordable. Now if our dollar was on par or even better than the American dollar, that would be even better!

Canada has import fees which probably cuts into SS's direct orders so they charge a lower rate and just make up the money they lose by charging US customers a bit more would be my guess.

canada is so clean..even the big cities. It's like the western version of japan... The only thing i dont like is the high taxes they charge on EVERYTHING. It was a wtf moment when a $200 dinner came with a $40 tax...

Depends where you go. A lot of the provinces do have high tax 12%-15% almost. Where I am it's only 5% so it's not too bad
