Depends where you go. A lot of the provinces do have high tax 12%-15% almost. Where I am it's only 5% so it's not too bad
Should try the UK 20% plus they charge tax on the shipping and Fedex charge an extra £10/$15 for the privilege of paying it for you. Around $124 tax on Skaar for me
Worth it for the EX though
