Okay as I have recently been made aware I don't KNOW NEARLY enough about some of my fav statues. However, I DO KNOW that Martin Canale is a SCULPTING GOD!!!!!

Also, why can't EVERY statue have WIP pics like these????

Every statue does have WIP pics similar to those. They just won't get posted here by the sculptors due to past incidents.

A vocal minority spewed a ton of vitriol towards some of the artists/sculptors and ruined it for the majority of us.

The main problem is certain folks could not voice their "concerns" about pieces in a tactful manner.

Instead of saying something like "wouldn't it be better if the arm was posed like X" they would say "who was the idiot that thought posing the arm that way was a good idea?"

As for the Randy Bowen and SF issue, I can't recall the details surrounding that.

I tried to look up the thread but it seems SF removed it. I haven't taken a look at this thread but since Randy is over there now, might be valid information.

Plus it's not just the artists and sculptors that have been driven away by some people's inability to be constructive or even respectful. I remember when SSC used to visit here almost daily, not just in the 'Ask SS' Section but contribute to the threads, especially as the excitement was building for new releases.

I can definitely understand why the artists did stop posting if Facebook is anything to go by. Some of the people posting on there come across as right evil little ****ers

Glad to hear it .... I was also thinking about trying to get more of an SSC and artist presence here. Tell me it wouldn't be great to have Martin Canale drop in say the WWH thread and say "psssst I am working n this NOW!!!", and here is a peak.... By the way I don't know he is sculpting it, but I am a huge fan now, and would love to see DADDY sculpted by him.

But it looks like some of the long time banned members are starting to reappear over there at SF. Not this guy I'm cool for a lifetime of that forum.
